- Sadiq Khan's Deputy Mayor for the Environment, Shirley Rodrigues faces calls to resign her post over the revelations she sought to interfere with scientists hired by the Mayor's office. Sadiq Khan relies upon their research as evidence to back up his unpopular Londonwide ULEZ expansion.
At the London Assembly's Plenary, Emma Best AM brought forward a motion condemning the Mayor and his team's behaviour, and calling for ULEZ to be cancelled as a result.
Only the Conservatives on the London Assembly voted to support this motion.

I'm not sure what the party split was there but I suspect people voted down party lines and the others against the tories. It's disgusting if they really got the scientists to change the evidence and no one voted for the motion. This country is lost.

One brave honest lady making the case and bringing the scandal to light and it was apparent from several near interruptions that others wanted to prevent her from doing. As someone that has debated conspiracy theorists online I find Sadiq Khan's actions extremely damaging, as I will now find it very difficult to debunk conspiracy theorists whom insist that the authorities pay Scientists to lie.

There has always been corruption within our political system, any interaction between humans especially when given a position of power and responsibility. We were once one of the least corrupt nations politically and our politicians were mostly people of integrity, this has now gone and as we can see by this report highlights the depths these people will stoop to to get their way. We are quickly loosing the democratic process, I fear for the future of the younger generation.

It's an absolute hell hole, we live in Bournemouth now very close to the beach , the amount of smart money that's left London is incredible.Most of the traditional English have left to move south or abroad, i guess this is why the city is unrecognisable now,infact most large citys do not look English anymore

This is what we get for telling other humans like ourselves that we see them as gods and give them power over us. All over the world, these people that we placed on pedestals, giving them the impression that they are smarter, wiser and better than us, are doing exactly what people on pedestals do to the lowly masses, and they do it shamelessly BECAUSE they are gods - we told them so with our votes!
The problem is that they must be held accountable, a fundamental principle of every public office, if not the case corruption prevails. Everyone voting against this motion should be made to give their reasons and this might lead to a leaner, more ethical body, if the leadership had integrity and ability.
