Great video Serge! Your tips have really helped my edits. Your video several years back about audio mastering has been a huge help in making my content sound great. Thank you from Yokohama, Japan!
I had no idea you could do that with the wipe transition… over 10 years using FCP and still learning new things. Gonna use that pretty much constantly to show before and after of my color grades with FilmConvert Nitrate. Great video, Serge!
Thanks for this important video , I am new in final cut , I was using Premiere, I just need 2 transitions , from right to left and from left to right with motion blur , how can I get it ?
I'm working on a slideshow including a nice background. I use "fade to Black" transition for fading in and outs, but on the last version of Final Cut Pro, the transition fades out also the background. So everything is to blackIs there an explaining this? Does anyone else experience this too?
Oh man. Hi Serge, this is the 3rd time your video helped me out. Cross dissolve is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, again!
1 - Default cross dissolve transition
2 - Flow transition
3 - Fade to color transition
4 - Wipe transition
5 - Scrapbook transition
Thanks for sharing. The Flow transition will be particularly helpful.
As always Serge, time well spent learning new tips or refreshing, GREAT video thanks !
I like the way you think! Thank you for all the great content 🙌
That wiipe transition is a great reminder! Thanks Serge!
You're a freakin' legend Serge! Love it Sir! I'm trying this for sure!

Wow. All 5 were fantastic, but my jaw dropped with the cross-dissolve one. Thank you!
Thank you 🎉

Thanks Matthew! I'm also constantly learning new things I can do in FCP!
Love your vids! It’s awesome how I can pick up so many cool tips in just a few minutes.
Do you like the short videos, or would you prefer a bit longer?
@@Serge1913 I really enjoy quick tip videos that I can watch anytime. But adding a bit more length would make them even better!
Excellent video!!!! Its good to see some of the basics explained for those of us who at the more beginner level - thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Would you like to see more beginner tutorials?

I learned a lot from this video thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
awww never knew the dissolve extra features... question. how do i make a dissolve start at a position...say ...after my cut....not centred?
I’m not sure. I’ll see if I can figure it out. Just to be clear, you just want to add a transition to the start of your following clip?
Thank u 🙏 very much, it was very useful ❤
Love it. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well I was the one not using cross dissolve as much as I should! LOL. Thanks Serge!
