SHA-LA-LA from Live & Dangerous is such a great drum solo!! It's the only drum solo that I can "mouth" from beginning to end by memory!! It's as memorable as a lyric, which is unbelievable when you think about it! The mark of true greatness!!!
Thin Lizzy had the very best drummer, Brian, the very best singer songwriter, front man, man about town Phil, the very best guitar players, Erick, Brian, Scott, and Gary. Snowy & John, plus Darren Leigh Wharton the keyboard wizard It all adds up to be the best rocking band of all times. my brothers and I were the very lucky ones as we got to see the mighty Thin Lizzy man times( Not enough times) there for the recording of Live & Dangerous, the recording of Finsbury Park concert etc

A true gentleman and a credit to Thin Lizzy. Brian Downey, definitely one of the top 10 underrated drummers to ever grace classic rock music.
