  • Flying at the mountain site Villa Grove in south central Colorado. Nearly two hour flight past some of the high peaks and alpine lakes of the Sangre de Cristo Range, not far from the Great Sand Dunes National park.

Very nice! Beautiful scenery too. 15,000' doesn't seem that high when you're flying above Mountains that tall...So cool!

Oh man, I was there in September. What an amazing place. I had my new pilot sled run and it was amazing. The camp was nice, Josiah was the best host ever.
    I'll be back.

Greg I’m flying at Villa Grove the end of this month.
I recently purchased an oxygen system from MHOxygen, I’m not sure how or where to place components. Please tell where you place the controller. It should be set and forget but what if you feel you need more.
    Please advise, thanks
And btw GREAT VIDEO! I am very excited can’t wait to get there.

A dedicated full face hg lid would be easier on your neck than a motorcycle helmet.

I've gotten used to the helmet, and prefer the protection it provides that hopefully I'll never need. It's carbon fiber, so not as heavy as you'd think. I've had a 4:30 flight with it. I've integrated the helmet with my phone, vario, and radio, so everything comes through the headphones..
