can this actually work in DC?
Electrochromic devices operate on DC, on average from 0.8 to 2 Volts. The voltage may be higher, depending on the device and electrochromic composition.

yes, these are different technologies based on different operating principles
@@E44792 There are a lot of dependencies in electrochromic devices for voltage supply. But in general, yes, the bigger the device, the more voltage you drop, but mostly it's in the range of 0.8 to 2 volts. However, there may be more. In my practice, I have made devices powered up to 18 volts DC. It all depends on the size, electrochromic composition, etc.
