I was gonna ask that. From the context if how it's used, I get "Bottling it" means screwing up, or ruining any chance of winning. But why is it called Bottling it? What is that from, why that term?
@@observingrogue7652 if you bottle something you are closing it up. If you bottle your lap that lap is done, it’s over, you can’t save it.

Great example of when a driver feels naturally great with a particular track and barely needs practise on it. Just shows you how many different little details define racing.

All of this is making me excited to participate in such events one day, when I get my steering wheel. It's that feeling of being an actual part of a league representing a manufacturer that I adore about Gran Turismo Sport specifically. :)
Bought the game 6 days ago on day 2 I ordered a steering wheel. Now I am ragging at nurburgring daily race every time I get a penalty haha

I loved this circuit. I had my best finish in a National race here. 8th 😊
That last guy's 3s penalty is what mine usually are. In my race for this one. I started 7th, and as we were going between turns 5 and 6, a Viper ahead of me got into the grass setting up for 6, spun out in front of me and the guy beside me. His car, despite being completely sideways, didn't go invisible. Me and the guy I was battling both hit him and ended up with 4s penalties on lap 1 because we couldn't get past a car sideways on the track that didn't phase out.
As a note, I recovered, finished 4th. And my SR still managed to increase. So, was a good race in the end. But, that penalty system needs some work for GT7.
I don't think the penalty system will get better unless a better AI system is in place ( like you can report when the penalty was unfair and people could vote whether your lying or not and it'll make the ai change how it'll approach the system next time ) So at start it will be like Forza Motosport 7 ( i think, i dunno i dont play forza ) and by the end , and by a few days later it'll be up to gran turismo standards, so imagine what it could be if a month passes. ( sorry for my bad English! )

Hey Super GT, I’ve been watching your videos recently and I’m liking gran turismo so far, I’ve never played a GT game but I’d like to give it a try. Also I don’t have a steering wheel. Should I buy GT sport or GT7 or don’t buy gran turismo games at all?
he has a video about gamepad vs. wheel in GT Sport, called "Wheel or Controller - Which is Better? (Gran Turismo Sport)"
also, GT7 should be fine with a gamepad, it's targeted at a wider audience than GT Sport, and the main Gran Turismo games were always in the sim-cade range

Hey guys, should I get GT Sport or F12020 ? I'm a big racing and F1 fan, but the bigger variety in GT Sport is something I really like. The only thing that keeps me from buying is the tire screeching which you can hear into every corner. Is that something you can disable? Should I get GT Sport regardless(maybe I'll get used to it)?

Question, as an old GT fan, last one was GT4 I played, an ex iRacing driver (iRating in the 3,000’s albeit 4 years ago now!), pre ordered a PS5 an no doubt GT7 will be very similar in feel as GT sport I’d imagine from a physics standpoint, how playable an enjoyable from a simulation perspective is GT series with just a joy pad? Or do I need to go all in an get a wheel an pedal setup again?

I've been watching your videos for quite some time. I don't know what it is about them that I find so mesmerizing. Perhaps it's the narrative. Perhaps it's your voice. Perhaps it's your sense of humor, combined with your seriousness. Perhaps it's the strategy tips and tricks. Perhaps it's your sportsmanship. Perhaps it's because you've taken this virtual experience into real life in carting. I don't really know. But they're brilliant and I do hope you keep it up. @SuperGT you should do some drags/drifts bro, really helps your ability to launch fast in races and not bottle it when trying to recover. Ironically drags and drifts have done heaps for my overall lap times. Also, I personally would love to watch the content, its great fun.

Sensational race. If only Mx hadn't gone for the desperation move and backed off out of respect. If Mx just stuck to you, they could probably have pressured you into running out of fuel, perhaps.
Proof at the end, that the penalty system is completely broken. 3 second penalties for being barged out the way. Think I'll stick to ACC on PS4 for time being.

You have to tell us the trick on how your acceleration is soo nice. I just started playing the game and my car can’t even go above 3rd gear properly even on a long straight and most of the time I even have to pull up a gear coz my gear level bar doesn’t fill up coz the acceleration is sooo bad. I mean like a 90 year old grandma can run faster than the Audi TTS coupe that they give in the start
Love your content. Not sure I will support at the higher tier, but I understand making things simpler and also making changes if the lower tiers weren’t really worth it.
