My goal in life is to be able to walk straight, head held up high, with a purposeful look in my face and head straight for the Cross to express my gratitude.
I’ve never heard a message so good in my life.
One of my goals is to either start or be a part of a ministry for those that are suffering from depression in South Korea, a country that has one of the highest suicide rates among developed nations. My Korean is not fluent (yet) and don't quite have the funds to make it happen yet, but God willing, someday.
Reading OUT LOUD everyday EACH chapter of Proverbs, then, Psalms daily at least. Then other books of the BIBLE out-loudly whenever possible.
After reading, "talk" to HIM in the name of JESUS CHRIST asking HIM for
HIS help daily.
Reading the WORD of GOD ; the BIBLE, will help to spend less time with
this wicked worldly things which always confuses people with
such temptations of devil & his slaves in this wicked world.

Rick looks great in black. Now go set some goals. God has a great plan for your life but He’s waiting for you to set your goals and He will help you achieve them. One day at a time they will slowly but surely come to pass. Write them down and dont give up UNTIL you see the goal come to pass. Then set some new ones thru out the rest of your life.
Goal- setting is so difficult for me. I struggle to know I heard God. I ask God what He wants me to do about everything, big and small. I constantly overthink everything, and I mean everything. As a result, I remain stuck. Pastor Warren said he set a goal to grow Saddleback over 40 years but how did he know it was God who told him to do that and not his own personal want? How can I know what goals God wants me to pursue??

I have been going through a very difficult month in my spiritual walk. I agree with your statement about learning scripture so that you can lean on it. I was being convinced to walk away from a wonderful man because he was divorced. The thing is, I set a goal and promised him to marry him. I dug into the Bible like I never have before. I was determined to know I was doing the right thing. My motivation was simply to grow old with him and know I love him and not be selfish. Thank you for encouraging me to realize I have made the right decision. I was so full of guilt when I was thinking of walking away. When I started reading Galatians and Ephesians it was clear how much responsibility I have to love others no matter what! I'm so glad I decided to stay with him and I know my next goal is to keep a close walk with Jesus and to keep studying and not allow myself to become complacent! I'm excited about this series.
