I need a team. The Lord's vision, plan, dream is related to making a difference and enriching the lives and leading the next generation of young people to Christ.
I dont have a team of people or the right people at the moment. I moved to another state, from Western Massachusetts to Florida. I moved to Florida to seek a better life since I struggled in the area and community that I was born into and lived all of my life. I struggled finding a better career and employment and one that provided a better higher salary and a more liveable wage that kept me in financial poverty and bondage for the past 20 years of my life. The community I lived in all of my life provided a lack of better opportunities including choices for better employment. It was and still is a very economic depressed and dysfunctional, stagnat rural country area, with limited good jobs and good paying ones in which one needs higher education and skills. The right and better doors never opened up for me and the better opportunties never came my way. That is one of the reasons I had to move out of an area and limtations that kept me down. I am currently working a full time low salary job, working with children and teenagers who live in a residentinal setting, but does not pay very well, less than $19,000 a year salary and still remain in financial baren dry place that I have experienced all of my life. I feel and sense the Lord has a much bigger purpose, vision, dream, and plan for my life and desires to use me in a mighter and greater way as a sister in the Lord had mentioned to me in the past. Where I am currently working as a house parent and floater I realize is for a short season and is a stepping stone and a good training ground and the Lord is using me to be a blessing to the children that live there and is using this experience for my own benefit as well. However, I need the right team of people in my life. The right models, mentors and friends in my life. People with integrity, good, honorable and godly, trustworthy character and a good heart, who are interested in growing spiritually, who have humility, a generous spirit and personal relationship with Jesus Christ and who love and serve Jesus Christ.. My passion is great, and the dream bigger than my past and present circumstance and the the right people and opportunties need to come my way. The Lord had shown me a picture or vision of what he may have plan for my future, that included making a larger difference in the lives of young people.
Michael Ziemlak You described what I'm going through as far as making a dream happen and living in a barren area not finding the right support. I'm praying what I should do next, I deep down know I need to move, just not trying to get caught up in the "how".
I have been in a famine and drought, struggling all of my life since I had lived all of my life in a economic depressed, very poor job market, stagnat rural area, lacking in better and higher salaried career opportunities . I have struggled trying to find and land better employment and my ideal dream job and career and right place to work and affected every area of my life including finacially, I have had the lack of the right and better opportunties and right people. connections and support coming my way. Have gone through a lot of battles, hardship, tough times, struggles, famine and bad experiences and attacks from the enemy and battles and conflict with people, who the devil used to cause trouble. I have been in bad or limited soil up to this moment. Still seeking the right support and team. People of character, integrity and humility. My experience so far is that I have had more experience dealing with people who lack humility and pride and arrogance seems to be a big problem with many people and a lot of insecurity as well. Intergity, sincerity and respect is also a problem as well. I want people on my team who have integrity, humility and are genuine and sincere and have a servant heart and a love for young people and for Jesus Christ and show others honor and respect.
I hear you. Michael your heart is right, God will use that mightily. Pray and it will be given. God knows our needs. I prayed for you today that God will send you this team. For the mean time, there is no better than God and the Holy Spirit who will teach us to the things He wants us to do.

I look around schools don't allow God, families are broken, suicides are at an all time high, and the selfishness is a big part of almost everyone I see. I want to focus on the broken and abused people. I live in Minnesota and I don't know anyone that could. I don't know where to begin to look. But I know that the Holy Spirit wants me to do this. More than anything else, I have always been able to help the emotional broken people around me. But I need a team to help and I don't where my team would even start yet.

While I learn a lot from this teaching, there appears to be more than one formula for effective team building. In 1 Samuel 22:2, David chooses some of the most downtrodden people to build a mighty army. Jesus also chooses what could be considered some of the least qualified people to help build a mighty ministry when there was an abundance of Pharisees who knew scripture in and out...I suppose in the final analysis His ways are always higher than our well intentioned ways...
I have a huge problem with all of our immigrants coming here illegally. There’s a really right way and legal way too do so. It is totally unsustainable to have everyone come here by the millions . Yes I am a Christian. No matter what you say.

it had to happen. after reading his purpose driven life 3 times, and watching just about every video, there is a disagreement with Mr. Warren. maybe I had him on too high a pedestal to begin with. Or maybe he misspoke? he talked about immigrants. at about the 49 minute mark, he said, " we are pro immigrant" okay, most people are. "take care of the foreigners in your land." he says as Christians, it is your job to love everybody". obviously, he is referring to Trump and the policies he wants to put in place. he talks about the good Samaritan and he brought up racism. so, lets take these things one at a time. first, there is illegal immigration. is he saying to open our doors? then there is the fact of kicking people out. then there is the REASON we are. how can say it is racism? so, if Mr. Warren has people show up at his house, and want to live there, he will let them sleep there. I take it his doors are always open? by the way, I agree with everything he said in reference to the Bible but he drew a horrible comparison. yes, we are to love everyone. yes, we should help people in need. did he imply that Trump would just leave a person dying in the street. Shame on you, Mr. Warren. you should be specific. I still respect the heck out of you, but I have to adamantly disagree the way you about those few minutes.
John I think that the thing you should take out of it is that you need to love everybody. You might disagree about what the governments actions should be for the good of the country, but love everyone despite race. I believe that immigration should be temporarily halted for the good of our country, but it doesn’t mean I would ever dislike anyone because they are an immigrant.
Hi John and Joseph, No matter what country one may be listening to this message from, the message is to be loving to the outsider, to the foreigner, to the stranger....Those who are not easy to love and accept and those whom we have no duty or responsibility to take care of. Jesus hung out with the tax collectors, one of the most despised groups of his time, which shocked many of the most religious and righteous people of his time. The important thing to keep in mind is that God doesn't look at the religiosity of the actions, but our hearts -- how we love Him and how we love others, inside and outside of government policy.
I agree here. I just think he slightly misspoke. the word 'judgment' takes on a different connotation depending on context. he said "it is not your job to judge, it is your job to love" again, I agree. the way he made it sound was as if you got in a political conversation about it, you are judging. so, if I am conversing with somebody, say an election is coming up, and we are deciding on who to vote for, yes, I think I am in my right to 'judge' in the sense of following up on my beliefs. probably splitting hairs here, but I hope you see what I mean. but Mr. Warren, I think you are a great man of God. I love following your word, and will continue to do so.

I believe that immigration should be temporarily halted for the good of our country, but it doesn’t mean I would ever dislike anyone because they are an immigrant.

No matter what country one may be listening to this message from, the message is to be loving to the outsider, to the foreigner, to the stranger....Those who are not easy to love and accept and those whom we have no duty or responsibility to take care of. Jesus hung out with the tax collectors, one of the most despised groups of his time, which shocked many of the most religious and righteous people of his time. The important thing to keep in mind is that God doesn't look at the religiosity of the actions, but our hearts -- how we love Him and how we love others, inside and outside of government policy.
I agree here. I just think he slightly misspoke. the word 'judgment' takes on a different connotation depending on context. he said "it is not your job to judge, it is your job to love" again, I agree. the way he made it sound was as if you got in a political conversation about it, you are judging. so, if I am conversing with somebody, say an election is coming up, and we are deciding on who to vote for, yes, I think I am in my right to 'judge' in the sense of following up on my beliefs. probably splitting hairs here, but I hope you see what I mean. but Mr. Warren, I think you are a great man of God. I love following your word, and will continue to do so.
