    Bro, when this video came up this morning and I read it, I thought you had rod knock. I thought, "No! This is depressing! I'll watch this later." Glad it wasn't engine problems!
    ...should have watched until the end... still depressing. Without being there and driving it, check the mounts, obviously, I believe you did poly bushings on the subframe, check the torque arm and also the axels. They make weird, clunky sounds when they start to go, especially when turning.

    I just replaced control arms, outer tie rods and sway bar links in March. I had one link that wasn’t torqued enough and was getting a muted popping sound on turns. Also, I bought my 2003 9-5 end of February and your vids have been great!

    I had a 98 9-3 and a 2002 9-3. Really liked those cars. Both had a 5 speed manual. I feel like those cars were so much better in stick. I had automatics when I had service and the sentronic was just meh. Only issue I remember having on my 02 was a bad water pump.

    I had the links to the stabilizer bar work loose. Made a heck of a racket....

    2004-2005 Saab 9-5 Aero's are becoming more rare and hard to find (the most collectible models)🏁🏁🏁👍

      I'd rather have an 02-03 manual

      @houseking9211 I prefer the shark-tooth front face design on the 2004-2005 🏁🏁🏁👍

      @@davidjackson3221 I like the sharktooth too, but I think the aero front lip on the 02-03 bumper looks better. My main point was a manual > an auto aero no matter what year

      @@houseking9211 I like the paddle shifters and the sport button. The best of both worlds 🏁👍

    that trans mount you replaced the other week is probably proparts. they’re no good.

    I recently replaced both of my cv axles, as they were awful, my car is an 02 aero with 250k miles.
    It would be worth checking, but mine didn't do it like that on higher speed turning, it would make noise over bumps and during hard low speed cornering I could hear them thunk to one side

    Hi Kyle, good to See you back. I had noise on mine from when I got it. Coming from the rear. It was driving me nuts. I knew the car had had new Bilstein shocks all round. When we checked the rear where the noise seemed to be coming from we found the silent blocks and spacers had been fitted in the wrong order. Checking the receipts and paperwork, I found the bill for the shocks, but no bill for fitting them. So I guess he fitted them himself on the driveway. Same error on both sides. We refitted them correctly and the noise has gone… Now I guess I need to replace all the bushings though. What would you recommend? She’s our daily so we’re looking for comfort over sporty handling. She’s a 2004 right hand drive Aero Estate (Wagon for you 😉) with 204000 miles.

    Bummer the problem wasn’t resolved! Could it possibly be the steering rack?
