that shifter is the shit man! don't let anyone tell you otherwise! people may not understand, but you don't need them or their negativity in your life.
Haha thanks bro yeah it’s my car at the end of the day and I like it. Ofcourse this shit is subjective so there will be some that hate it. But maybe they just need to understand why it’s tall 👌
Awesome man and did you swap rear ends yet and if so which did you go with? I saw how tight everything looked when you were trying to put it in the first time. I really think I'm pulling my motor when I swap mine with the Grannis GR1000F. I think I'll be less stressful. Any way glad it's running sounding good.. Now more videos.💯🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁👍
@@YakuzaJZ For the heat issue you have around the shifter area, you can get a roll of these Aluminum Foil Self-Adhesive Repair Tape at Home Depot. I am not sure where you are located or if there is a Home Depot where you live but a hardware store would probably have it or something similar. These tape is for roof patching which can handle heat, water, and seal up any air from leaking through. It works just like Dynomat but I have used it for soundproofing my doors and around my shifter housing for my Supra. Not sure if it's any help but the TR6060 in my Chaser is also a bit hard to get into first sometimes - often need to depress the clutch again to get it in. Also, what did you do for the reverse lockout solenoid and reverse lights? Cheers
I just wired up a switch from the solenoid (ground to gearbox and the other to a switch with accessories power source). I haven’t sorted the reverse lights yet, actually completely forgot about them oops!
@@YakuzaJZ Max 3.9, lucky for you, MK3 came with a 3.9 don't know which year tho. 40-130kph i do in about 2s but shift from 2nd into 3rd at 110kph 7600rpm limit. Def's dropping to 3.9 lol unless you into drifting 4.1 is the in-between, 4.3 defs drifting lol Im in QLD btw.
On boost at 5:00 😉
you should definitely do a walkthrough/tips for 2JZ swapping our MK3's great video btw.
Thanks man, keen to do something for y’all soon
Beautiful! Sounds great. Totally inspires me to get the swap done
How bad is it
That Jeep owner seen your gear stick from a mile away haha, good to see she's back on the road, man I need to get me another mk3

Great to see the supra back in action
Miss this car
Thanks bro 🙏
Awesome....glad to see the car back on the road

Can’t wait to build my mk3!
You can get a taller shifter. You have to remove the wind screen and sit on a pillow so you can reach it though.
Good idea I’ll do that
Ayy finally about time😂
I know right!!
Just bought a 2JZ but I'm looking for another supra to put it in
wonderful car brother
thanks bro!

Great job sir about that hot air from the gear I have the same problem in my car it's killing me u gonna do video about it?
Thanks man, I think I might had some insulation or gold tape on the transmission tunnel from underneath and see if that helps first
What blow off valve are you using on your setup? Sounds amazing!
cheers bro - its a turbosmart raceport

Ready to gap vinnies VL on Tuesday 😉
😂 I need a bloody rain check, cars up on jack stands waiting a new bigger clutch master cylinder.
How much did the build cost ?
never really kept a record man
Not hating on the car or anything like that but I’m not feeling the shifter but hey it gets the job done
Yeah it’s definitely different
How'd you go with the tailshaft? Looking to do this conversion on mine soon
Hey bro I just got a custom 3-inch 1 piece tailshaft made in Sydney to suit the measurements. Supposed to be rated to 800hp
@@YakuzaJZ awesome man thanks for the reply ❤️
BTW your ECU should be able to control reverse lock out.
Yes it totally can however I have run out of DPI/DPOs
What diff gears you running? i got tr6060 with 4.3 diff gears and they are way too short, 800rwhp 2JZ cressida.
I just have the stock 3.7 right now. I would love 3.9 or 4.1
