just found ur channel, great video, my gtv has been of the road for 9 years, since my boy was born, im starting to get it fixed but finding parts hasn't been easy lol
OK...just to be sure I looked up Sargassi Green...I'm definitely seeing green on the images...that saved a trip to Specsavers...no matter...a very pretty car for 23 years old..great channel thank you
I enjoy your videos very much. Any chance for a video on the white phase 1 916 Spider I noticed in the background? Rare in white and I think they look great.
Love that color! All this talk of used car prices rising, around the world, but here in Japan second hand GTV’s and 156’s haven’t gone up much, if at all. How about in the UK?
Around 10 mins in looking at the rear sill / floor area…. Looks like the plastic splash covers are missing ? Underside needs some TLC but otherwise a great car.
Hate seeing cars destroyed by careless jacking 😡 main reason i take my wheels off to get tyres fitted as i cant be bothered with the "dont jack it on the sills" convo i always used to have wherever i went 🤦♂️😁
I would like to share your optimism Neil, when it comes to issues on Alfa's. I'm far more judgmental than that and would make a big deal out of most things you just declare as 'not too bad'. 🙃
Anyone know if those rubber sleeves on the bottom of the springs are available from anywhere? Same set up on my 166 in the front. Mine look intact, but I'm due to change out the struts soon, so who knows how they may fare after that.

Awesome to still see you making videos on alfas. Shame that I'm in Germany and your shop is in the UK. I'd love to have you look over my two 156
Thanks
Its not an oil leak, its built in rust prevention
I really want your 'how's it holding up' scrutiny on my GTV - it's like a right of passage! Haha. Might have to book it in with you at cambelt time
book it in
Always a 👍for Neil's video's, some of these cars have stood up really to the miles and age nowadays.
Did you say Sargassi Green...it looks blue to me...lovely looking car
It is green. 👍😀

All those shopping dents should be fixable with a top dent master type guy. Well worth the money and doesn't cost the earth anyway.
That is a cracking colour don't know if it would have worked when new but it certainly does now.

Didn't do one on that.
Really enjoyed that video!

Do you mean the blue one...I'm still looking for the green one 🙄

Overall repair costs

Good video but pity about the noisy neighbours
Yeah does my head in
Was that a cut lambda?
Rear disc looks shocking - I wonder if it was sat outside with a cover on that didn't cover that wheel? Very localised scarring.
Would you restore a Fiat Uno Mk1?
I would
Oil leak will keep the rust down 😆
that car needs to be driven with the new cam belt ,then those disks will look better..
rear one wont clean up
Nothing wrong with the cone air filter its positioning however is atrocious.
Cloverleaf badges and that spoiler nooooooo🤮
Not bad for a 25yr old alfa considering how they used to be in the 80s most didn't last 10yrs
Just a little rust ;-)
