- Last Life is an odd mix of a Social and PvP Minecraft game started by Grian. Players are thrown into a tiny world with almost no rules, except survive as long as possible.
Dark Green = 4+ Lives
Green = 3 Lives
Yellow = 2 Lives
Red = 1 Life
Red Players are given the goal of killing all the other players in the game. In addition to the Red Players, each episode Boogeymen are chosen in secret and randomly to kill another player. If they fail to do so, they will lose all except 1 of their lives in the next episode.
To add chaos to the social dynamic, players also have been given the option to share their lives with each other.

What I love about Etho is that everyone is just scared to start beef with him...and meanwhile Etho runs around like 'no I'm not that good', and it doesn't matter if he is or not, because nobody dares to try! Reputation is everything XD
I agree, his reputation preceeded him 😂 I hope he stay vigilant too, otherwise it would be like previous season because he's too complacent 😂

Also, Etho is the half-heart hero. The number of times he has gotten out of things with half a heart in his lifetime in Minecraft is staggering. That’s the real reputation. He may not be the PVP master he once was, but how do you kill someone whose health only goes down to half a heart?!
He’s either cracked, unkillable, a master planner, or dead in half a second. Always amazing
I always wonder if it’s an artifact from years ago, like during the days of Terraria is EZ, when some of Etho’s subscribers thought he was getting ‘cheated’ out of items (even though he wasn’t) and they went and flamed Zisteau’s channel, so now people are afraid to start beef with Etho because they’re worried about subscriber retaliation. It’s always in the back of my mind.

I watched Tango’s POV earlier and I absolutely lost my mind laughing when *[spoiler for this episode incoming!]* Etho turned around and threw the diamond into lava. Not only is it a hilarious nod to the community, but also, WHAT a power move. I’m so looking forward to the rest of the series! Shenanigans to ensue, I’m sure.

also etho is a very powerful person to have on your side because of his reputation and big-braininess. it wouldn't be good for bdubs to kill him on day one because that may have made them enemies.
Cleo and etho interactions are my favorite. Best of last season and this season is no different so far. The banter is just *chefs kiss*

The build up to the murder in this episode is genius. The diamond, the jukebox, the joking of being the boogeyman, and Etho literally saying that BDoubleO100 was the boogeyman.
Not to mention what happened with Grian gaining then losing his life.
It was a perfect set of coincidences

Having seen a few other views so far and knowing who was boogyman, it was great watching the interactions on this. Hearing all BDubs questions "hypothetically if you were boogyman..."
I loved the "hey Etho, do you still have that music disc?"
Etho is my first perspective of this, i was so caught off gaurd by the "Musical Murder" but its amazing and hilarious.
(I only saw Grian's and Etho's videos up and decided to go with etho first as he is definitely my favorite Minecraft youtuber, he just has a charisma about his videos)
Not disappointed by that choice either, time to go watch Hermitcrafts biggest instigator next.

Wait, so actually wouldn't it have made more sense for Etho to propose Cleo a deal? Etho kills Cleo, Tango gives Etho several lives, Etho gives at least two of them to Cleo, Etho and Cleo both profit
Cleo could just give Etho a life with /givelife, too, but it only makes sense to do that if 1. Tango follows through with the deal and 2. Cleo trusts Etho enough to give the life back.
Players can't directly attack unless they're red. Colly's idea would loophole this.

I cannot explain with words how thrilled I am that Etho and Bdubs are working together more closely this season. Their dynamic is easily my favorite of the entire Hermitcraft+ group.
25:45 I love the part saw a sheep fly off a cliff and fall to its death, looked up and saw a goat, and the next scene is trying to lead that goat into their house. My hope for this series is at some point Etho commits murder using that goat.
