Love seeing you play in your videos. I laughed so hard when Mr. Morton owned up to using the last of the curry paste. You seem to have really found your groove now back in NZ. Cant wait for the intros to show the crackling fire . much love to you both.
Your home is so beautiful yet cozy and inviting! I haven’t seen anything from you in a bit and you seem so much happier here in your new home and country. Arna you are so talented it’s a real treat to get to hear you play!!
I can’t ever seem to get over our seasons being different. We’re semi rolling into spring here and Canada and it’s fall there! Beautiful video as always 💕✨
Haha it’s always odd feeling out of sync with the majority of my audience 😅😅 I’m over here prepping the wood pile and thinking about all of the butternut pumpkin recipes I’m gonna make soon and y’all are excited for Spring haha
I love to watch you play. It reminds me of when I played my piano every day. I would get so wrapped up in the piece, you could see it on my face and the way my body would get into the music.
Such a beautiful vlog ❤️ I always love watching clips of you practicing. It inspires me to practice better, and I had a great session after watching this video 😊 Happy International Women's Day, lovely, strong lady! 😍🎻
Two things... 1) I’m so happy with your new cf products! Made my heart happy. 🖤 2) Your playing is fucking breathtaking 💋 I need to see you live before I turn me toes up for the big sleep xx
This was so fun to watch! Loved the music part and the nature bits. It's nearly spring here in Europe and although I CAN NOT WAIT for winter to end I am kiiiind of envious of the fall vibes because fall is just beautiful
A lovely vlog thanks Arna, very soothing and so cool to see your musicianship in action! With the yoghurt/apple combo, not sure if you've tried grated apple but if not give it a go. Zany Zeus is on the list next time I do a shop!
I so miss musicians coming into the shop while I work. I’ve had quite a few coming in for bow rehairs since they’ve started having a few small outdoor concerts coming up, but it’s just not the same. One day 💔
I have the hourglass shadow in smoke and am using it in exactly the same way. Beautiful Bach! This gave me serious Hilary Hahn vibes...to think this is you just practicing...wow, wow, wow!
Im not sure whether elf is available in NZ but if you can get your hands on it, the Wow Brow Gel is a great affordable brow gel that has pigment and fibres in it
Yes I love the wow brow! It's totally replaced boy brow for me and also my first few boy brows lasted ages whereas the last one I had I ran out really fast so not sure if they changed it? X

@@ArnaAlayneMorton oh and you probably don’t remember but in the last video I asked about your eyeshadow and you said it would be in the vlog. Now I know :) I love those scattered light shadows, I’m tempted to get smoke!

Thank you for that snippet of you playing! I was watching your vlog while taking a break from my gradschool works. Felt so peaceful 💗 Stay safe! Much love from the Philippines 🥰
I absolutely LOVE the hourglass scattered light! Smoke is my favorite shade too! You need to try it over a cream shadow! Especially the CT eyes to mesmerize! I love it together! I believe the shade I use smoke over us Marie Antoinette! It's a cooler toned bronze shade! 😁
Always love your vlogs. I made that curry tonight after being inspired by you. I also added in a can of chickpeas for some extra veg and didn’t seem to take away from it, just added a bit of extra texture!
Good morning and blessings to you! The sound of birds is so unique and calming. You are a cheese lover as are my friend and I. I am in cummincado with my daughter over makeup. I look forward to getting my covid 2nd vaccination at the end of this month! Yahoo!! Good luck on your concert!!
We were just burning the last fire for the season here in Norway probably, everything is so much brighter here and you’re going into fall/ winter💖love your calming videos and always some makeup included😍as a former musician I really enjoy your practicing. When you sliced the cheese, I wanted to ask you if you’d seen our Norwegian cheese cutter/ slicers? I can send you one if you’re interested. Thanks for a lovely vlog😘
Hi lovely!! Thank you for the kind feedback :) send me a picture of the cheese slicer on Instagram if you can haha I didn’t know they would be different to this kind of cheese slicer!
I got the glossier stretch concealer for Christmas and I really love it for my everyday makeup. I don’t know if you have tried it but I’d recommend giving it a go if you do a big glossier order. I did the same thing with colourpop because even though we can get it in the UK the customs and shipping charge is so pricey so me and my friends tend to do a massive order between us so we can split the cost.
That’s a good idea re the shipping! And yes I actually own the Stretch Concealer 😍 it’s great, although more something I pull out for a no-makeup makeup look :)
This was such a lovely video!!! I loved how you edited the beginning--it was so peaceful. This may be an odd question, but what is the name of the piece you were playing starting around 15:59ish? I used to play the cello and it just sounds so familiar!!!
I also loved them so much I had to hunt them down on a different continent! It turns out they’re not sold in Canada, but thankfully my mother in law could get them where she lives in Europe.
Hey Arna! I know this really has nothing to do with the video, but as a student who is interested in a career in classical music i would really love some clarity for a few things. Will I be good enough by the time i’m done with uni to even expect to get a job in an orchestra? I’m currently 15 and i play viola at a grade 7/8 ameb, which i know is a lot lower than what most people who get the kind of jobs i would want were playing at this age. At the same time i am the best player in my school already and in 6 months with my AMAZING new teacher i’ve gone from mid grade 6 to being ready to start grade 8. I’m putting more and more practice into my instrument because I’ve started to get more invested into it but i’m not sure if all this effort i’m putting in is worth it. However i absolutely love playing viola and going to a music uni and then progressing into an orchestra sounds like an absolute dream job to me. The only issue is how insanely competitive the field is and that I might be better off getting an academic degree like a law, or business degree instead, but that just doesn’t excite me like music does. What are your thoughts, or just any tips on a level you’d need to be going into uni so that i wouldn’t be downright behind. If you, or anyone else with this kind of experience takes the time to read this, it’d mean the world to me. Thanks!
I was at a similar level to you at that age, and have found work in the field :) 100% do the music degree if it is where your heart is. Don’t pursue law or accounting etc just because you think you’ll be more secure because you’ll only be left miserable. Life is short, so do what you love 💕 Also, Viola is a heck of a lot less competitive than violin, so you’ll be fine xx
@@ArnaAlayneMorton thank you so much for the response! I’ll keep trying hard and if i still feel the most passionate for music once i’m out of school i’ll definitely go for the music degree. This is really great to hear, i’d almost convinced myself i wasn’t good enough to make a career in music but so long as i’m not too far behind already i’m sure i can put in the work and get there! Thank you!
