I grew up in Currie, really enjoyed your video. Did you know a lot of the trail used to be a train line.

Hello. My husband and I enjoyed your video. Thank you! We plan to walk the Waters of Leith next month, when we arrive in Newhaven by cruise ship. Can you please tell us what town/train/bus station is nearest the lovely graffitied tunnel? We want to make sure we get to that part.

We're glad you enjoyed the video! The graffitied tunnel is called Colinton Tunnel (called Colinton Station & Tunnel on Google Maps), and while still within Edinburgh, it's almost at the edge of the city. It isn't in the most convenient location for trains, but if you're looking to get there from Newhaven Harbour, you could take the #10 or 16 bus and it would get you there in just over an hour. Or if, for example, you'll be in the city centre and want to head to Colinton Tunnel from there, you could take the #44 from Princes Street and that would take about 45 minutes. Hope this helps!
