Just makes me happy that I’ve never went to high school yet with any of my teens, even though I’ve always had the pack since release and I always click no every morning. So now this will be cute that you can pull your backpack out and set it by your desk and pull out your homework and you can take your lunch to school etc. The other backpack in the closet section is good for teen play too as it can be used as their clothes. Like, I managed to open the game after more than 24 hours only cause a creator helped me with how they did it on X (so strange calling it like this way) after they absolutely ignored me. You know, it’s a real “look over there 🫡” drag race kind of moment to me lol
I was watching this wondering why I should be excited...? Can you even wear those backpacks? I've also literally just purchased a gaming laptop which is on it's way today to swap over from my mac, apple still uses origin but windows uses the EA app....so now i'm guessing I won't be able to play the sims on it today.
Well I don't think is the case. This SDX I think was scheduled and has nothing to do with the EA app problems. Please stop putting hate against the sims when there is no need.
There is quite often pee all over the women’s seats because of “hovering” to avoid touching anything. You have to either hover yourself or use a paper cover. Whether I’m peeing after a man or a woman isn’t something I worry about in a public toilet. I mainly worry about there being any soap to wash my hands afterward.
I love it when it is the electric soap dispenser and the motion activated dryer for hands too. That way I can touch as little as possible while I am in there. I hate public bathrooms so much.
Yeah and like regardless of the gender I'll never directly just sit on the seat because that's gross and if I do miss then I'll use the tissue to clean it off like a normal person and flush the toilet with my foot 👍
@@teflondawnI doubt they know how to fix dine out and at this point I would almost rather they wouldn't because modders have fixed it for the most part and I don't want them breaking that.😅
Yeah, they really should refresh it, after all it was the first ever pack that came out for the game and is therefore a bit lacking. They should definitely add more active careers and overhaul the shop-owning stuff. I'd love to be able to set shop hours or manage my employees properly. Don't even get me started on the severely pathetic Magnolia Promenade. WE NEED MORE LOT SPACES IN MAGNOLIA PROMENADE.
@@panda0x0craze27 it's not like the Sims development team doesn't know what people are asking for. The community is quite talkative it's not hard to find that information. They just choose not to act on it for various reasons.
Get to Work definitely needs a refresh, in particular, a full world. And I’d love to have visit-able work lots inside that world. I want to take my sims to the hospital when they’re sick!
People can complain you are "negative" as much as they want, but let me tell ya, when you say you actually like something or that it's good I trust that it must actually be good!
Yeah so it's just some signs, a bathroom door but a different logo, a random backpack that makes no difference, and a lunch box that is literally just a smaller cooler with fewer features
These are some good items for rags to riches players. Instead of having to buy a cooler for some bit of food on your home lot, you can buy a lunch box and take it around with you everywhere. You can also use the backpack to store anything you don't want to immediately sell.
You know how you can name the wine racks in Horse Ranch? It’d be cool if we could name backpacks too, helpful if you’re using several to sort the inventory lol.
I think the heart is to designate the location of the AEDs in commercial buildings. (The automatic pads that shock people back to life when their heart stops.)
Yeah, those signs made me think of a hotel/motel, maybe a mall/shopping centre, but who knows what the future will bring (re: Sims 4). But it’s not like I expect good things to come…it’s EA.
Omg the backpack!!!! Years ago, I used Sims 4 Studio to make a mod like this (but I have no modding talent) but I just saved the mesh + textures from the backpack and applied them to a storage box. Which is functional but it still has the shadow of the box so it looks a little weird, but I still use it all the time. Usually every kid sim will have their own storage backpack in their room. I’m really excited to have the EA version be functional now!!! And excited for new swatches of them too
@@stop08it I'm not one of them, but i guess i'm a special case caring about gameplay and functionality and all..... My priorities are wonky i guess >.>
The women's bathroom is always cleaner in my experience. It's hard for the women to tell you though unless they've seen the guys room! lol, I used to work at various fast food restaurants as a teenager though and so I've seen my share of men's rooms and had to clean it.
I work in several spaces with gender neutral bathrooms. They are literally no better or worse than any other bathrooms. I find bathroom locations define their cleanliness more than gender. Like fast food bathrooms, always gross. Park bathrooms, always gross. Sit down restaurant bathrooms, sometimes slightly better. Any bathrooms mostly used by kids and teens (school), always a roll of the dice on cleanliness. The backpack would be cooler if you could wear it. The lunchbox is a bit more functional than the backpack.
Bathroom cleanliness depends on location. I've been in high traffic and/or bad area's ladies bathrooms that smelled of stinky Koochie and had period blood on the seats. One time I couldn't take the smell and snuck over the men's bathroom, an employee stopped from going in and let me use theirs. My boyfriend tells me the men's bathrooms have pee all over the floor and urinals. People are nasty.
I used to clean the public washrooms in a mall. Women would get pee on the seat, men just piss all over the floor and halfway up the walls for some reason.
I’ve had to clean both men’s and women’s bathrooms when I worked in fast food & retail in the past and I can confidently say that in MY personal experience, the women’s bathrooms have always been MUCH grosser. Unflushed toilets, piles of questionably stained toilet paper on the floor, and even used period products just laying on the ground. The worst I have ever found in men’s bathrooms is vomit 🤷🏽♀️
WHAT????? my experience is the complete opposite. it's always a fucked up hot mess in the men's bathroom. definitely more TP mess in the women's room but that's because a lot of men don't use TP. not to mention the constant hate speech grafitti and that while you're in there you have to watch 99.99% of the other men go in and out without washing their hands. as a man i don't know what is wrong with them
Yeah; women's bathroom is by far the more gross experience while cleaning up after people. Though some man came in once while I was cleaning the men's room and whipped it out right at the urinal even though I, a lady, was cleaning the bathroom. Like. For real? At least give me the minute it will take to get my butt out of there, my dude...
I can't compare men's bathrooms as I've not been in them. But goddamn the number of stinky, disgusting women's toilets I've come across. Pee on the seats, loo roll all over the place, wet floors, waste left in the toilet. I don't think its a gender issue, I think it's just a disgusting person issue.
They added the toilet door because they've been trying de-gender things. It wasn't strictly necessary since there is the gender neutral door or w/e but this one is like truely no gender involved, this is the room you piss in end of story lol. I never use the gendered doors. Not only is it even more unnecessary than irl but it's annoying when your trying to send your sim to piss and they cant go to the closest bathroom bc it has a gendered door.
@@Raphaeltheslayerit’s just a public areas thing in the game. Some of the games programing will block a sim from going in if it’s gendered in a community space. They won’t go. It’s easier to never gender the door in the first place or remove it if it exist and you can.
@@TheDawnofVanlifebfr community lots always have two bathrooms for the two genders. When you click on bladder they go or put the walls up and send them to the bathroom
Actually a good update NGL. We haven't gotten a new actual base game useful feature in so long (last one was neighborhood stories). Infants don't count because without growing together they're just toddlers just smaller and more annoying lmao
Backpacks will be so useful for sorting inventory! And the lunchbox reminds me of Ravasheen’s CC lunchbox where toddlers can feed themselves, I always have that in my family games
don't see myself using any of these. unless the lunchbox can be kept in the inventory for sims to grab stuff when they're hungry without food spoiling, so my kids aren't always starving
Okay, but have they fixed gardening yet? My sims glitch when they get leftovers, they glitch when they interact with infants, they glitch during conversations... I appreciate the update, but it's worth absolutely nothing if I still can't PLAY THE GAME.
my prediction: Mall game pack. What im seeing are signs for public building lots. If its not a game pack, it may be a refresh for get to work that will implement a mall
That’d be so cool! In my main save, I have a mall I built and set as a retail store owned by the landgraabs, with all sorts of shops inside. The food court is kind of scuffed since it’s just food stalls you have to buy a vendor for, so it would be nice to have an actual one?
hearing you say "traaysh cayn" just made my night the no feeding animal sign means "don't take the cake from the cowplant or it will eat you and you'll die" I hate that we can't do backpackception how dare they
It's interesting you made that point about pee all over the seat because for the past week, every time I've tried to use my workplace's individual (GN) bathroom, the seat is completely coated in urine (and hair). Also, the bowl is full of urine, and clearly no attempt was made to flush it manually, when it didn't automatically do so. The toilet is directly opposite a sign asking patrons to please check for any messes they've left. Don't get me wrong; I've known a few women who somehow manage to drip on the seat, but it's absolutely nothing compared to what some men do. (Important note: I've never had an issue using the GN bathroom after a male coworker. But the male patrons just straight-up don't seem to care how gross they are.)
I tried the suggestion you said with putting seeds in the backpack. It wouldn't let me. It is only certain items that can go in it. Putting their homework or journal in there makes it so you have to do an extra step. First, take the backpack out of your storage and then take the book out. Then they have to put it back in the backpack and put the backpack in your storage. It would have been nice if I could put things like seeds and maybe collectibles, but for books, it is just another step. If I could go into the backpack from the storage without having to put it in the world, then it would be much better.
We have gender neutral toilets at my uni and it’s really not that deep. There’s a few on each level so if one’s dirty you just go to a different one lmao
I feel like the bathroom thing could work if you made one for urinals and one for normal toilets. I can obviously imagine the sitting down ones still be nasty, but maaaybe it would work out? I've been to a gender neutral unattended by a cleaning staff bathroom before and it was genuinely unusable to me. Like I'm sure it would get cleaned at the end of the day but in the middle of it it was absolutely nasty
tbh in that scenario you might as well split them up anyway, idk id be traumatized if id ever have to pass by urinals and get junk waved at me LMFAO (like doesnt even have to be in my face, id be so damn timid and im sure the men would be as well)
@@ladyarmourlaprasSame! I rather not see a random guy’s junk, it’s bad enough I get random dick pics from strangers online. I’m ok with having a women’s only bathroom for myself.
That's a NO feeding the alligators/crocodile sign ! Another option would be «don't take the cowplant cake lure» sign. It would make more sense to put fishes in the lunch box than the backpack.
as a girl, as a cheerleader we used to have to clean the varsity's bathroom, we cycle among different teams and take turns cleaning. I always volunteer to clean the boys bathroom because at most theres just pee and BO. BUT IN THE WOMENS BATHROOM THERES BLOOD THERES PEE THERES FOOT PRINTS ON THE SEATS, ONE TIME THERES WAS EVEN USED NAPKIN STUCK TO THE STALL WALL LIKE???? ladies are so nasty tbh thats why i almost never use public bathrooms unless theyre really well kept 😭
I think the update to the backpack and the new lunch box is because "back to school" is right around this week in the U.S.A. so adding those items to the game would most likely be a way to get players back on the game for that.
I just tested the backpack and the amount of items you can put in them seems to be really small. The Voidcritter cards don't seem to work, crossstitch projects, the knitting basket, photos, upgrade parts, wool, harvestables, horse manure, animal clothes, animal treats, scout trophies, tooth fairy presents, childrens drawings, school projects. Books seem to work fine (like the Parenthood Diary) but I wish they allowed for a few more items to be put into this storage.
I have only ever used one all-gender bathroom, but i found that it actually operates a lot differently than you might think. First of all, there was a common area with a bunch of hand washing stations and then private rooms for doing your business. The room itself had a wide entrance that you could easily see into while walking by. The "rooms" that had the toilets were about the size of a regular stall, except without any gaps, privacy from floor to ceiling, and a deadbolt on a door rather than a finicky latch. The icons on the doors showed whether that little room contains a toilet or a urinal, so men aren't necessarily pissing all over the toilet seat unless they're really just trying to be a dick about it. I don't know if every gender-neutral bathroom operates like that one did, but i sincerely hope so! It was way more public where it needed to be and way more private when you're actually taking a dump. 8/10 would recommend
It does similar to the couple I've used in the UK; a big washing area at the front (I think one even had some kind of like fountain with taps in the centre) and cubicles all along the back. I can't remember if some of the cubicles were urinals, but it is quite easy to make a regular toilet into a urinal (minus the auto-flushing) by removing the seat. It certainly had more cubicles than a regular men's bathroom where we tend to lose out on cubicles to make room for urinals.
@@gnu_andrew yes! That's another thing that never crossed my mind until recently. Men don't get as many toilets as women, which is fine until there's a big event with a long bathroom line. I have also come to realize how beneficial it is for adults with disabilities and their opposite-sex caregivers.
@@kendraaan Yeah. I imagine, like me with women's toilets, it's not something you're going to be aware of if you've never been in a men's bathroom yourself, especially as you tend to end up queuing inside the room. That can be quite awkward, especially when there are men nearby using the urinals... I'm not keen on using the ones at the theatre where I live, because there are about half a dozen urinals and only two cubicles (and one of those is marked disabled as well). I would hope more places, even if they still have gendered toilets, would have the disabled toilet separate to avoid the problem you mention. I just thought of a similar problem with kids, where a parent may have to take a small child into the bathroom of the wrong gender, but I imagine it's even worse in the disabled case because it involves adults. People tend to be more forgiving of children.
We need more free stuff for sure ☑️or more just little things/details in the older not updated worlds…like an updated bar in oasis springs or budget houses renovated
i havent been playing because i no longer have a laptop and watching this after not playing for months makes me realize how low the bar is for us. We’re in an emotionally abusive relationship with the sims 😭
I used to work at a casino, the women's bathrooms are just as bad, and sometimes worse, than the men's rooms. As an overall experience in the 8 years I had that job, they were both equally gross, for different reasons usually...
I think these seem like things that were probably intended to go with Growing Together but weren't finished in time. The signs seem like they could have gone well with the rec center. Also gender neutral bathrooms irl are literally fine. How gross a bathroom is has way more to do with how often they're cleaned vs how often they're used than whether or not they're gender neutral. I've been in some nasty women's restrooms too. Public toilets are always just a little bit gross.
Well, since you mentioning that the Sims is so US centric, this actually makes sense. Most schools go back in the US go back between mid-august and the first week of September, this is back to school stuff. In fact, almost all these signs can be used in a school setting. The heart one, can symbolize in AED.
They just gave us the keepsake boxes but in backpack form, hopefully they're not broken too and eventually can't take things out and the cooler in lunch box form. Cute but not at all impressed, couldn't make the back packs wearable or a decent animation for the lunch boxes. They did the bare minimum and said hey praise us for your free stuff after making people pay for game breaking packs that never work right again and again.
okay i really like the backpacks!!!! really going to help split up between stuff in the inventory, honestly i hope they keep improving on storage (like differentiating bookcases). feel like the keepsake boxes from growing together was their first experiment on this! i like the lunchboxes as well, although i do have the tiny nitpick that they could have helped bring the sack lunches of parenthood into base game, wish they let you take home-made meals in them (i personally would have been okay with it if they'd made them into yet another inventory, but ig its hassle to make food for the sim at home and easier to just treat it like the cooler with food that doesnt spoil)
The new bathroom sign is very random. We already have a door that can be use for all sims. I often create unisex bathroom in comunity lots because I dont want to waste space with two bathroom, and sometimes I would click in the wrong bathroom and the sims just cancel the action which was a bit annoying. I hope the signs are a sign of get work refresh, this pack need this so much.
the funny part is that this update is so "big" that i had to go and check in my ea app whether sims auto updated because i didnt even notice any changes during gameplay lol
I *do* wish you wore the backpack once it went into inventory. :/ And that sign you were confused about seems like a 'don't eat the cake the cowplant offers you' sign. xD AND YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT MEN PISSING ALL OVER THE TOILET AND FLOOR!!! Hell, I even have to have a separate bathroom at home - from my own partner - because it's disgusting to see pee on the base of the toilet, or the floor, or whatever. You're not handling a HOSE. Or just sit down if you can't NOT piss all over everything...ugh, yikes. You're right though, I wouldn't want to go use a toilet after a guy, rofl.
I have no idea if it means anything or not, nor do I care right now. Because I am genuinely just so excited and ecstatic about this new backpack system, like I can't even express how much or how long I've been wanting this. I definitely agree that it would have been really nice if we had the ability to put it on, but I'll take it!
Gender neutral bathrooms are genuinely a godspend for nb and non-passing trans ppl. It's nice to not be forced to pick a gender everytime you piss or have to sus out if you're gonna get hate-crimed for using the bathroom of your preferred gender. As a trans person I have experienced horrible conditions for both gendered restrooms and usually gender neutral bathrooms come with urinals so you don't have to deal with the piss on seats situation. Overall I think theyre a positive good for everyone cause it also gives anyone of any gender identity a private place to take a shit.
only FTM's have a chance to pass post-T, male ones never do and women don't want them in our restrooms (under self-id laws there's nothing stopping any male from coming in and being a creep at BEST so it's best for our safety to have a "no males" policy upheld.). For courtesy's sake use your sex's restroom or BETTER YET advocate for more single stalled neutral ones (HEY, no threat of a hate crime if you're in there by yourself!)
Those backpacks are gonna be so good for organizing collections in inventory. I send my Sims out for days at a time finding collections. Inventory is always so messy by the time I'm don. Lunchboxes are similar to coolers in outdoor retreat (underrated tbh the tents and coolers are great) so those i already had something similar, but nothing like backpacks
Thanks for showing us the update! I'm still avoiding the EA app but I was curious about this one so at least I get to see it here for now. Really excited about the backpack and lunchbox, It's definitely going to be great for teens. And I can see myself using the rest for restaurants and stuff like that. I really like the stairs one for some reason lol
So, they've given us an option to... put stuff in a backpack, which you then put into your inventory, instead of, y'know, putting stuff directly into your inventory? Wow.
Right? I don't get why ppl are excited about it. You can have backpacks in your room to store things, but we already have storage boxes that does the same thing. It's just aesthetic.
First of all, the women's bathrooms are typically pretty clean 😂 I hate public restrooms anyway but I hear horror stories about mens bathrooms and the urinals Anyhoo, I personally don't think this update is that deep. I've been fine without the different door signs and lunchbox for this long, I'd be fine without them forever. Some type of functional backpack for storage is kinda cool but again not a necessity at all. It just seems like they knew the community is extremely unhappy so they pushed to get these things done and out as a diversion
Yeah like 98% of the bathrooms I go to are fine. You get the odd toliet you can tell someone had a bad day in 😂 but otherwise no issue with them. But not the biggest fan of public restrooms either
women's bathrooms are typically pretty clean don't go to high school then in my senior year of high school(1 year ago) I went to the bathroom cause I was about pee myself and there was a stall that was covered in bloody pads and tampons the toilet was full of them even though every stall had a trashcan it was disgusting
No no.. I will complain, I don't care if it's free. They do the bare minimum as always. Free or not. Besides, none of this crap matters until they fix core issues, including the app the bloody game is played on. Lol
I’m a transgender man so I’ve been in all 3 kinds of bathrooms. Gender neutral bathrooms are always very clean honestly. Men’s bathrooms are disgusting and smell like ass & for some reason wet dog a lot. Women’s bathrooms are also disgusting, but they have scents to cover it up a lot of the time, so it smells like flowers with the smell of shit and heavy gross air. In conclusion: Bathrooms are disgusting but I love gender neutral bathrooms. I use the men’s obviously and I’m not exactly happy about it but most places don’t have gender-neutral bathrooms.
Okay I just noticed something and it seems like something the sims team would do so hear me out. When you show some clips of the high school years trailer, there are zipped open bagpacks in the hallways. Now, I'm pretty sure that before this update the only way those backpacks would show up was just with the zipper closed. This would maybe mean that they took a feature from high school years for later use instead of including it in the pack? Might be a big conspiracy but it is EA so nothing is impossible😂
As a trans man... You would be surprised at how completely horrible some women's restrooms are, honestly. And men's bathrooms are honestly less horrific than what I pictured as a child growing up, so. Women honestly won't have any more of an issue peeing after men than they already do peeing after other women.
That is fair it really depends on what public restroom you're in and how often they clean it. Nothing like walking into a stall and seeing period blood smeared across the toilet seat. 🤦♀️
Fellow trans man! I find it does depend on location/cleaning schedule, but both are deffo guilty of pee on seats and not flushing. I personally have found that men's bathrooms smell like the floor has been marinating in urine for a decade and it can make me feel a bit nauseous, but I suppose its better than smelling period blood occasionally? YMMV, in general I prefer gender neutral bathrooms if they are available just to keep myself safe from any possible violence
Speaking from experience and someone who has cleaned the restrooms in a retail store both bathrooms are usually pretty bad. I think it mainly depends on the store and which sex uses the bathroom the most in that store. If the store attracts more men than that restroom is usually worse and visa versa.
First off I LOVE your reviews! Don’t ever change. And secondly I hope that the next “expansion pack” includes some kind of hunter and gatherer play. Like collecting rare flowers or crystals to make amazing NEW potions. And if it includes fairies I hope that you have to catch one in order for it to make you one and then you can actually visit the “fairy world or house” and not just another fricking rabbit hole. But sadly I’m almost sure that this update means nothing.
I'm so happy about the signs, I'm currently renovating Winderburg and it's really hard to make communal spaces without owning Get to Work 😅 And to confirm, women bathrooms are, imo, way worst than the men ones. I've literally seen p00p on the walls. Gross af
Women’s bathrooms are lots cleaner than men’s, in a hs bathroom, the women’s were your typical unsanitary bathroom, the boys bathroom HAD A SMELL TO IT and the thing was: it was summer so no one was using it that year

People tend to only go into one bathrooms so the one you see more you’d assume to be worse hahaha. I’ve seen nightmare level men’s and women’s bathrooms.
As someone who has cleaned bathrooms as part of crap jobs for way too long, men's rooms tend to have a higher baseline of filth, but the spikes of filth are far greater in women's rooms.

Like, I managed to open the game after more than 24 hours only cause a creator helped me with how they did it on X (so strange calling it like this way) after they absolutely ignored me. You know, it’s a real “look over there 🫡” drag race kind of moment to me lol
I agree

Fingers crossed for a Get to Work refresh🤞 Its #1 on my list for a refresh.
hopefully that’ll fix dineout as well
@@teflondawnI doubt they know how to fix dine out and at this point I would almost rather they wouldn't because modders have fixed it for the most part and I don't want them breaking that.😅
Yeah, they really should refresh it, after all it was the first ever pack that came out for the game and is therefore a bit lacking. They should definitely add more active careers and overhaul the shop-owning stuff. I'd love to be able to set shop hours or manage my employees properly. These are some good items for rags to riches players. Instead of having to buy a cooler for some bit of food on your home lot, you can buy a lunch box and take it around with you everywhere. You can also use the backpack to store anything you don't want to immediately sell.
When I do the rags to riches play throughs I usually give the sims a backpack on the lot for “realism”. I’m very happy that it’s functional now!

Omg the backpack!!!! Years ago, I used Sims 4 Studio to make a mod like this (but I have no modding talent) but I just saved the mesh + textures from the backpack and applied them to a storage box.
That's not true. Teens are the ones that know how to clean. At least speaking for the females. It's the kids that don't know any better.
People are nasty.
this is just satch's excuse for shitting on trans people on the regular lol :(

I for one would not feel comfortable using the same bathroom as men.
This is what I was going to say. I just depends.
@@crystalmentaoh pls shutup
I used to clean the public washrooms in a mall. Women would get pee on the seat, men just piss all over the floor and halfway up the walls for some reason.
I’ve had to clean both men’s and women’s bathrooms when I worked in fast food & retail in the past and I can confidently say that in MY personal experience, the women’s bathrooms have always been MUCH grosser. Unflushed toilets, piles of questionably stained toilet paper on the floor, and even used period products just laying on the ground. The worst I have ever found in men’s bathrooms is vomit 🤷🏽♀️
WHAT????? my experience is the complete opposite. it's always a fucked up hot mess in the men's bathroom. definitely more TP mess in the women's room but that's because a lot of men don't use TP. not to mention the constant hate speech grafitti and that while you're in there you have to watch 99.99% of the other men go in and out without washing their hands. as a man i don't know what is wrong with them
Agreed. I worked retail. Add dirty diapers to the list
I've see that a few times personally but men's still 'win' the gross contest because the floor is ALWAYS wet. 😭😂

Actually a good update NGL. We haven't gotten a new actual base game useful feature in so long (last one was neighborhood stories). Infants don't count because without growing together they're just toddlers just smaller and more annoying lmao
They are! And now diapers are thrown on the floor for newborns too, so more mess
Backpacks will be so useful for sorting inventory! And the lunchbox reminds me of Ravasheen’s CC lunchbox where toddlers can feed themselves, I always have that in my family games
don't see myself using any of these. unless the lunchbox can be kept in the inventory for sims to grab stuff when they're hungry without food spoiling, so my kids aren't always starving
ngl the backpack is perfect for basemental drxgs

I hate that we can't do backpackception how dare they
It's interesting you made that point about pee all over the seat because for the past week, every time I've tried to use my workplace's individual (GN) bathroom, the seat is completely coated in urine (and hair).
A sign for not feeding the carnivorous plant hahaha I love that one
I feel like the bathroom thing could work if you made one for urinals and one for normal toilets. I can obviously imagine the sitting down ones still be nasty, but maaaybe it would work out? I've been to a gender neutral unattended by a cleaning staff bathroom before and it was genuinely unusable to me. Like I'm sure it would get cleaned at the end of the day but in the middle of it it was absolutely nasty

Omg the lunch box would be so useful for playing jungle adventure so you can have meals while at the temple

i havent been playing because i no longer have a laptop and watching this after not playing for months makes me realize how low the bar is for us. We’re in an emotionally abusive relationship with the sims 😭
Very nice to see you happy! Thanks for the update!
I absolutely love the back packs. This is one of the best base game updates. The painted ceilings were also amazing. Well done, EA! Finally…
Yes! What a missed opportunity.
1:25 this is probably "don't take the cake from cowplant" sign😂
The growing together theory feels on point. It would fit very well and it feels like the tech from memory boxes.
The Toilet one is probably for Nonbinary and the general disabled toilet, though they should also have wider doors for that...
Yaaaas the margarita song! Love you and Love That Chick Angel!!! 😂😂❤❤❤

Yeah godsend for you maybe but hell for women. Gender identity is not above safety.
(((( HUGS ))))
only FTM's have a chance to pass post-T, male ones never do and women don't want them in our restrooms (under self-id laws there's nothing stopping any male from coming in and being a creep at BEST so it's best for our safety to have a "no males" policy upheld.). For courtesy's sake use your sex's restroom or BETTER YET advocate for more single stalled neutral ones (HEY, no threat of a hate crime if you're in there by yourself!)
no they are not positive for everyone, women should get to decide whether they want to use a womens bathroom or a gender neutral one.
First of all, the women's bathrooms are typically pretty clean 😂 I hate public restrooms anyway but I hear horror stories about mens bathrooms and the urinals
Anyhoo, I personally don't think this update is that deep. I've been fine without the different door signs and lunchbox for this long, I'd be fine without them forever. Some type of functional backpack for storage is kinda cool but again not a necessity at all. It just seems like they knew the community is extremely unhappy so they pushed to get these things done and out as a diversion
dont come to the bathrooms at the cafe I work at. we have four bins in the womens restroom and they still throw a bunch of paper all over the ground
Yeah like 98% of the bathrooms I go to are fine. You get the odd toliet you can tell someone had a bad day in 😂 but otherwise no issue with them. But not the biggest fan of public restrooms either

The bagpack has 10 new swatches not 5 ^^ it had 5 swatches before. The first row. I love that sdx drop. I believe It's gonna be usefull ❤

But sadly I’m almost sure that this update means nothing.
Yes woman's bathrooms are horrific. We are the ones who bring our kids into the restrooms and if anyone knows children... it can become very messy.
