The whole tragedy of this failed relationship is that they brought a young girl into this world who now, as an adult, cannot speak openly about her parents without compromising her privacy and her safety. Very sad.

But she gets to go through life knowing her father was an intelligent bad-ass who outsmarted cops for years. He might be an evil bad-ass, but a bad-ass all the same. Besides, if they hadn't brought her into the world, then that young girl wouldn't exist. Are you saying you don't want her to exist?

@@jamielehman4934 she's saying this two people were selfish and were never thinking about what any children of his would unfairly have to endure. There is nothing " bad ass" about Ted Bundy, he was a freak who got his jollys by murdering then having sex with dead women. Not so fabulous a guy, unless you're into that sort of thing. If so, seek help, you are sick.... I wish his daughter well and hopes she learns to live free from her parents sins and poor choices.

@@jamielehman4934 Your comment is disturbing to say the least. Firstly it appears you are praising a serial killer and this is the wrong channel for that. Secondly, I'm not saying I don't want her to exist, I'm saying that she was conceived without due consideration by the careless parents for her future.

That's likely why he roped in a woman from prison and had a kid. That's probably what partially or fully motivates some people to do the things they do regardless of who gets run over in the process. Not out of love but out of spite. "Winning" in the Charlie Sheen sense.
The court took a long time in trying to psychoanalyze and determine if Bundy was so egotistical that he'd sabotage his own defense during the trial for momentary victories to satisfy his own ego, which would have qualified him in the court's eyes as having a legit mental illness. I think long term he had his priorities situated: Whatever would cause the most ego gratification for himself at the expense of everybody else. If that meant from death row then so be it.

While watching the Ted Bundy Tapes, I found it absolutely INSANE and LAUGHABLE that Carole would want to get with Ted... Especially with the "I cAn sAvE hIM" attitude.
But, hearing about her 15-year-old brother made me understand her a little bit more. I realized everybody has a story, and everyone has reasons for making the choices that they make. Did the Judge do nothing in court when TB did his bizarre marriage? How calculating and he "won" again.
I am assuming TB visited with Carole in Death Row since he managed to get her pregnant somehow-another "win" for the psychopath against society and the Justice system.
If he was able to visit with Carole and her child Rosa in prison, even before he got the death penalty, that would have been an appropriate Child Protection Report. Unless a guard was right beside him, he could have grabbed the child around the neck and strangled her dead, thanks to the mother's VERY POOR decision making. (I worked in Child Protection) Carole's dysfunction, being with Ted Bundy went beyond her brother's death in my opinion.

She smuggled drugs, had intercourse with him during visits in front of guards, married him during a court procedure (which was her idea btw), etc. The evidence was there that he committed the murders and she fully believed his lies. Why? In my opinion it has nothing to do with the "I can save him" attitude maybe she liked the fact that he was in jail and she wasn't. A relationship where one is confined and the other one knows that their beloved one can't get away. Many women date and marry guys on death row.....and I think most of them have the same mindset.

I could never understand why she acted so happy around him in court. Now listening to what happened to her brother. Could it have been guilt for not watching him or maybe did she get angry with him & he drowned? Parents usually would get angry with a sibling & possibly blame the sibling if a death occurred & it was left to sibling to look after the child. Part of grief. So I can understand how she turned to helping people on death row to make herself feel better. She probably always felt her parents hated her & they were never happy with her. Maybe she got blamed for her brothers death & so she connected with Ted. Being blamed would be the connection. It only takes one person to understand another & that can seal a bond. He was also manipulative & charming to women that she fell under his spell. So in his twisted mind of believing he was innocent & making her believe him they fed off eachother. I do feel sorry for their daughter. I feel sorry for every single person who came across Ted & was tricked, suffered & hurt & killed by him. He used women as tools to his killing addiction. Used his girlfriend & wife to hide the monster he was so he could look like a normal American guy. So sad

Allowing Ted to represent himself he wasn’t a lawyer! And he mocked everyone there laughing ? What’s so funny? People dead? He made a circus of the law and cross examining to Carol really? This man wreaked evil and he killed a child. Hello wake up. I think the whole trial was a joke. And his mother really you lied to him for years telling him he’s your brother? That would mess any kid up

Ted Bundy hated being in prison, he craved freedom. Giving him the chair only set him free , should have let him serve a life sentence , maybe one day his daughter could have looked him in the eye and asked him why he brutalized young women ? It could have been her , and he would have to answer to that … those are things that a death penalty helped him escaped, accountability in many forms .. but it’s just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

These women are very unbalanced in their neediness for whatever-love, attention from the press. Her "BF" can never go away, as he is imprisoned etc. I can tell you as a past SW, that prisoners use women, have them move to near their prison from hundreds of miles away sometimes, until they get parolled. (the parolle board favours letting out prisoners who "have support, "families" so they will hopefully not repeat their crimes. Then once out and shortly after, they ditch the women and kids(shudder) to be with another loser woman who dates chronic criminals. It is VERY frustrating as a SW and woman, person.
Men associate this with stupidity and I can see why but women often tend to be more emotional in their decision making.

The push to kill him was a little short sighted. You see the deal Ridgeway made with police and as a result they were able to locate and put names to many more victims and their families. I'm not saying let him live indefinitely, but if he provided useful information that led to remains he should have received a short stay, perhaps 3 days for every body found. Victims and the victim’s families and POTENTIAL FUTURE VICTIMS (as a direct result of him escaping prison) are ALWAYS forgotten by people who protest the death penalty for any reason. They decide on emotions instead of facts, logic and PUBLIC SAFETY!! Ted denied and denied his guilt until the very end, and only in the very end he confessed because he thought it could do something for himself. He had absolutely ZERO remorse for any of his countless victims and their families, the only thing he regrets is getting caught. Ted got so much more support and empathy than he EVER deserved, and his victims got what NONE of them deserved. RIP to the victims. Ted it’s a pity you only had one life to forfeit for all the damage you caused.
