Its the most fun i had in totalwar since i got it this month. ( after watching some of appolo's videos ) and it says a lot about the game as i played totalwar games since around 12 years ago.
@@MattZaharias cant wait to test some of these mods later on, for now im playing with bran's ai mod which already beat me in a couple of battles which didnt happen a lot in other totalwars, feels really nice to know you are not invincible !

For anyone wondering, the plan ultimately ended up being for coalition to hold the town in the centre for loc. In the new system you have to hold the buldings and rnsure theyre linked up with the lines on the mini map or they dont count

why all this generals dont put all this battles into a European Campaign map to be coordonated by an ADMIN and they would fight over different battles from place to place to decide the WAR?
I tried that and its best to just use a hand made map and having a series of "rp" rules while deciding battles through the game itself. Plan on doing it again when I get my PC
Coalition could've pushed their left flank down onto the French and might've enjoyed success while pressuring the center of the French formation. That might be where they could've had it but they got too focused on the right and center.
Same. Before I saw how the battle ended I already saw that the french right is weak, and outnumbered. They could have folded their right, to make the french divert some units from the center.

One of the main ones was having all them troops on the left flank while all the action was on the right flank and center. Minimum the left flank should of pulled back a half of its troops to support the center and pulled back the other half to guard the left.

Would be really cool if a battle could be done that's 3v3 and each player controls a different aspect of the army, like one player controlling the cav, another the infantry and the last player the artillery of the army.

ive only played 100 hours of napoleon but i always found 4 ranks deep to be the best, is there a reason people are going 8-10 ranks deep in this battle?
Hey guys I need some help. I played with the great war mod lately and it worked fine,but when I wanted to just play the base game mp there seems to be a problem. I deleted the mod files,I even reinstalled the game,but still all mp games are blocked because its in "an another version of the game". What should I do?
You have to go to both file locations and delete them. There is one in your steamapps and one in your apps roaming (or something like that). Once you delete both reinstall it.
try fcn my guy I know you think its a ntw3 copy but it actually isnt. They used to have some copied maps from ntw3 but that was some old dev and they have stopped using fcn maps except for 10 which they got permission though from the lordz team. so its all nice again and fcn is right now in development of their 7.0 version
Would love to play some Shogun 2 but hate the idea of Fall of the Samurai. Turned Shogun into Napoleon. Lost it's uniqueness and ruined it in my opinion.
