today's sound engineers know far more about ethernet connections, bridges, routers and DHCP than how to set a nice sounding reverb and compressor properly, well many :) I recently did some engineering training at a church with a newly renovated worship center (sanctuary) and one of the sound guys was telling me about his final that he just finished taking for his audio engineering degree and when I was talking about running some monitor mixes post fader, and explaining the advantages and disadvantages, he did not know what I was talking about. He now has a degree in professional audio engineering. WOW!
Great video, I have a question. The sound is impecable but I feel the gain on every channel is very low. Even when I put the entrance gain to the max to reach 0dB. I know this video is old but I hope you can see it. Thanks from Argentina.
Hello first of all very thanks to you for this video. We have also this console the problem is the headphone trs out doesn't work the place where stay the console unconfort to hear how we get another out to put monitor to hear? Thanks
Hello! Thanks for the interesting video! When I want to connect my midas venice u16 console via USB to my PC, a message pops up that the driver is outdated and is not a Win10 driver. What to do, where to get the driver for Win10?
Great video, but can you explain why so many network connections are necessary? Seems like from a technical standpoint you should only need 1 cable, going from the surface to the rack.
That is exactly the case - only one cable is required from the surface to the rack (DL371). The second cable is for redundancy. Unfortunately the software doesn't automatically failover to the redundant connection if the first connection fails. This must be done manually in the system diagnostic screen.
Vitaliy V The console comes bare bones. The "install pack" for example includes the control surface and the DSP engine only. I needs to be purchased in addition to this, and allows for greater flexibility when ordering.
what church are you going man? my church in Indonesia is bought this midas pro 3 too, and i'm still learning how to optimize this item, nice to see your sharing video dude :)
Great video, thank you. I'm a bit new to digital consoles, where does the DSP engine sit? Under/next to the desk or at the stage with the DL? I have a feeling you're going to say "either place". I would assume it would sit next to the desk given it's the brains of the operation.
Thank you. I bought a Used - pro 1 in July 2022. very helpful for patching the console With DL 153

Hello, I have a question all online photos show that Midas PRO3 come with DL443 card, is it correct?

Anthony Bowe "either place" is the correct answer. Technically it doesn't matter, as long as the physical connections are reliable.
Any way I can shutdown the mixer with an external remote switch?
I don‘t Know. Using only Pro 1 i Go to Preferences an shut down the console
Can you make a video on the DN9650 with KT Dante64, how to Patch it and run audio back in to the board, also step by step on how to record.
That video is in the works. I hope to have it uploaded soon!
Ruben Santiago The video you requested is finally up! ua-cam.com/video/g15rhdCOBaM/v-deo.html
