I use a variety of mics - I like the sound of your voice with this MKE600. Most of my videos are shot outside, in a recording hostile environment. Inside I use a AT2021 as an overhead boom and an my Large Diaphragm for voice over is an AT2035. I don't have a shotgun mic because to use it for my outdoor shooting it would take a crew member which I don't have. I use Boya HM100 Interview Mics and Boya M1 Lavaliers for outside. All my audio is recorded to Tascam field recorders. Enjoyed your video, and if the need for a longer shotgun mic comes up I would certainly consider this one. Very versatile mic I think. Cheers.
It's great quality, but a little pricey. Another good budget option when just starting out to improve your audio is a "Rode Video Micro". It will drastically improve your internal audio from whichever device you're recording from as long as there is a 3.5mm jack to plug the mic in. You can pick them up for about $70
Just starting out..trying to use my wife's iPhone with the senn 600 into the scarlett focusrite with a 48v booster. Just would like to upload to phone camera then UA-cam in one shot.. problems: output only in left ear. Low volume output.
Try taking the video into your editing program and switch your audio track from "stereo" to "mono", it will then play the same signal out of both sides instead of one. See if that will solve the problem for you
What type of microphone are you using with your setup?

@@Mike_Mandigo ill try that.. thank you!
@@ftoftheX you're welcome. What video editing program are you using?
The mic you’re using is really bass heavy. Unless that’s your real voice.
