Haha. My mom turned 75 the same year Mickey did so we took her to Disneyland to celebrate. We were in Toontown where she got her picture taken with Mickey and we left the building. We were walking round and suddenly my mom wasn’t there. I turned around to see her on the ground as she had tripped on some steps (I thought about this when you talked about Chip and Dale falling down). I said, “OH NO, MOM FELL DOWN IN TOONTOWN!” Luckily, she wasn’t hurt but ya gotta be careful there. It’s a tricky place.
Great seeing California Jay back in your video again. Also nice seeing the Mickey and Minnie railway cue really cool. Nice seeing you all with your friends back together again celebrating the 100 years of Disney. Thanks again for sharing
Love the Big Thunder Ranch cap! ALLLLLLLLL the way back in 1986 I opened the Ranch and enjoyed so much BBQ and pie that I couldn’t eat bbq for many years after. So many memories!

Love the excitement from the two of you and the friends from other channels that you run into. Brings me back to the 90's when we would have groups of pass holders that would meet up every Sunday on Main Street. Of course long before UA-cam and being able to vlog our adventures, those were the days. Disneyland had a pass holder preview walk thru of Roger Rabbit in ToonTown and we thought that was so amazing being able to walk thru before it opened. It is nice to see ToonTown getting a new ride.
Since the early 1990s, I've seen Disneyland change so so much. But I would say, any year before Disneyland had their first Leap Year Day was phenomenal. Prices were affordable, APs a plenty and also affordable, Free FastPasses galore, and people still had a great time. After their 1st Leap Year Day was EVERYone in the world were flooding Disneyland and it hasn't stopped since, hence why during the pandemic, executives made a lot of changes to control the crowds. My last year as a passholder was 2015, and my last time I went was 2021. I plan to again this year before Splash Mountain closes :) Great video as always, Adam :)

It’s one of disneylands best features and one of disneyworlds worst downsides. It feels like you have to walk a quarter mile in the hot Florida sun from one attraction to the next in WDW

Potato talk and Potatoland references all in one vlog. I hear the Troubadour Tavern has great baked potatoes there! And then there was hash brown potatoes on the sandwich. If Tim was with you all he could do the “Potatoland Potatoland” Goofy chant. That waterfall on the Matterhorn being off is pretty strange. Usually it’s only off when Matterhorn is under refurb. You can see it from the HoJo Anaheim Mattercam live feed. Maybe this will be the year I can finally get to Disneyland. But currently I’m busy packing up my house for a move and house hunting so we’ll see what can happen. But it looks like normalcy has returned to the parks. I hope they didn’t get rid of the houses In Toontown. I miss that here.
I thought (and please someone confirm) if you have a reservation to get into a certain park, you can buy a LL at opening anywhere. We did that at Disney World. Is Disneyland different?

A ride mechanic failed to tighten two bolts on a wheel assembly of the lead car, which led to failure mid ride. Ten riders would be injured, and one would lose his life. Oct 15, 2021

My wife served you at Hungry Bear and took a pic. She was very excited about it. Sent me a pic and got me jealous. We both enjoyed seeing a number of vloggers we love share a meal at Hungry Bear via your episode. Oddly enough I brought a Figment pin to give to you IF I also ran into you while at Disneyland for the kick-off of the 100th.
The major differences are the placement of the track switch and the exact animation, the tornado animation is different, Donald has a completely different set he does with the carnival scene, the squid is different, the fireworks are different, and the chuby animations are different as he hulas at Hollywood studios. I feel the queue is too modern of a theater and it needs to have that classic town theater feel which California doesn't have but the museum idea was smart. just minor things you know but i like hollywood studios as it tries doing the hollywood we want but aren't going to get.
I know we are in the world we live in now but I just can't wrap my head around the fact that I have a family of 4 and it would cost me $80 to ride 1 ride, It's sad because my family loves Disney but this is insanity on a whole new level. What's it going to be like by the time my children want to take their own children?
I can’t fathom paying for a weeks trip to WDW or Disneyland for family of 4. Airfare, hotel, transportation, food, drinks, park tickets, souvenirs…..Geesh
I agree, I visited Disney World twice as a kid in the 1970’s and that was enough. Live in California and me and my family have a lot of fun which excludes Disney. Sorry to expensive, to crowded and so not worth it.
We went to WDW in Oct and bought Genie+ it was totally worth it. If it was affordable to everyone, everyone would buy it. It then would not be shorter lines. If everyone got LLs the LLs line would be as long or longer than the stand by. It's worth it for us. And I didn't mind using it at all! Just sharing my experience!
We would like to see it, but paying extra per person doesn't fit in our budget. Yes, it would be a choice between food or Lightening Lane. We are fond of eating, so no contest. One day perhaps we could have the extra funds.

Try Universal Studios instead.
