Holy crap, the edit on the ending was terrible. I could live with the occasional skips and freezes (could be a local problem, after all), but to have the ending chopped up like that is shameful.

For those of you who don't read the description: 1-mile run 50 overhead squats (135/95 lb.) 100 GHD sit-ups 150 double-unders 50 sumo deadlift high pulls (135/95 lb.) 100 box jump overs (24/18 in.)
I’m a big fan of CrossFit and every time I do it, once I hit the 15 min mark on the WOD I start to talk to myself and having thoughts that this shit is really stupid and then after sucking it up and finishing it, I’m like fuck yea definitely doing another WOD tomorrow.
You guys desperately need a more professional camera crew and production team. It was horrible last week at the semi-finals. The boggest blunder that comes to mind is Haley and Brooke going head to head for second place while the camera man AND EVERYBODY WATCHING AT HOME is watching Tia rolling around on the floor after completing here event! Horrible production quality! And based on this video it has been this way for a long time because the production work for this video is just as bad as what we are still getting!
Probably a few, Crossfit is getting better at testing the top performers more often, but inevitably some will get through. If they finish on the podium and it looks like they'll be competing again the next year they get tested randomly during the year. Event winners all get tested right after. Podium finishers all get tested right after as well.
Only Americans would put together and sponsor an event where people are literally just working out in a gym. Sit ups? Are you f’ing kidding me? A skill is what I’m missing here. Working out is not a skill.
so why dont you do your own events genius set it up sponsor one stop talking smack about americans if your so concerned about these awsome athletes make it safer for them. these ladies are very skilled.
I dont believe in crossfit because of things like push ups sit ups pullups even squats. You not finishing a defined distance body dimensions change thing drastically and even some people lockouts are not defineable because of bowed elbows often due to their arm shape. They should have to lift the weights do loading races.

Zero crossfitter in the World would finish a marathon under 2 hours and 10 minutes. Zero pure crossfit athlete only would be able to do a full exercices run on gymnastics rings. And most )probably over 90% crossfit athletes would struggle to run a kilometer in under 3 minutes 04 seconds which is the minimum time at French sports universities to have 10 out of 20 points to pass from 1st year to 2nd year sport science university and sub 2 minutes 45 seconds is would be literally another galaxy to reach for crossfit athletes. The WR is under 2 minutes 15 seconds. So fit crossfit makes you ;-)
yet the guy/girl that squats 900lbs wouldn’t be able to do this workout, the people who finish a marathon in under 2:10 wouldn’t be able to do the sumo dl high pulls or the overhead squats, i can say this for every single one of your arguments. you are missing the entire point of crossfit, it is not being specialized in running or powerlifting its being fit in as much aspects as possible, with this in mind you can’t train for a 900lbs squat or a fast marathon
often you don’t even know what you have to do for the competition until a day before or even the same day, this way you have to be ready for anything;)

At Crossfit games crossfitters squat 450 lbs that is less than i and other heavyweight athletes bench pressed, plus. And none of the crossfitters were top 10% in over 30 disciplines at elite university. That get destroyed in gymnastics, track and field, judo, kickboxing, swimming, climbing.

I used to think this was impressive. Then I watched the olympics. This is just a poor version, with crazy reps and max lifts after 11 workouts. Good way to get injured.

Weight to power these chicks aren't top level athletes except Tai Claire Toomey (and even then she only is good at the commonwealth level not world level). How do they lift at their weight category for Olympic lifts? Pathetic except Tia. The rest are poor. Otherwise after lifting so much I dara Sara to lift at the Olympics she wouldn't even qualify. Reality check time. Typical Amercian sport. Full of steriods. Its all about equipment and selling those equipment to the public. Nothing to do with sport. All of there running form is crap. They couldn't stand next to a African runner for 2km.

I think I`d be done halfway through the overhead squats. Their endurance is what`s remarkable about these athletes.
