As a member of the asexual spectrum, I can confirm: Garlic bread is able to solve everything ranging from being a nice snack to masking the scent of a corpse.
If it's for sparkling power 3 I had my own method that used 2 herba and one ingredient, but this is definitely faster. I am going to see what ends up cheapest of the two and make something out of it.
Hey! I've been using this guide for a while and I just recently was attempting to get humungo power for fire type pokemon with this method. I noticed there isn't a way to get Sparkling, Title, and Humungo level 3 for fire listed on the sheet but I figured it out: 1x Rice 1x Olive Oil 2x Spicy Herba Mystica HOWEVER you have to put the rice ON the sandwich in order to get humungo power. Hope this helps anyone else that had this issue :)

Dropping potato salad only costs 110 pokedollars instead of 280. Think of the savings! Also, if you want to quickly get some eggs, rice drop butter does the trick.
This is great for certain ingredients and certain hunts, but it’s also kind of niche. Encounter power and humungo power are great tools needed for a lot of hunts. The herba used in this method allows for these choices, but it’s just easier to pick ingredients around most any two herba rather pick herba around simpler ingredients.
Nice, I’ve been looking for more optimal recipes… but for those who are shiny hunting outbreaks just keep in mind “encounter power” is you worst enemy. It increases the shiny odds outside of the mass outbreak which is ultimately going to screw up your odds.
It is somewhat dependent on where you are and what encounters you can isolate. I’d rather be spawning Tandemaus outside of an outbreak rather Orthworms or Bombirdiers. Also encounter power can help to get more than one shiny per sandwich. This is not always the case, especially in area where more than one typing of Pokémon spawn, but it’s more dependent on the area rather than just a hindrance. Sometimes other buffs are better; Humungo power makes all Pokemon of that type larger, assisting when the target is very tiny.
You have done the community a huge service by putting in all those hours and burning that midnight oil so that all of us plebeians can have an easy time. I thank you for your time and patience.😊

I think that Pickle + Cucumber + other specific for a type is better, as it can user any 2 herba to get Encounter Power 3 (the best for shiny hunting), while this method uses specific combinations of herba to get it, making some herba better than other
The pickle cucumber method uses the wild amount of ingredients he's trying to avoid. If you're not hurting for herba, this method sounds flat out better

Is there any way to get Humongo Power + Encounter Power instead of Title Power? That would be so useful for hunting tiny pokemon with hard-to-see shinies.
I grew up with Pokeblocks, which were just as stupidly overcomplicated. but they WORKED. Imagine making a side game so important to your overall gameplay, even tying it into the story, and it just glitches so badly so consistantly players don't even bother to actually play it as intended because it probably won't work and isn't fun due to horrible interface. I'm mad because it could have been great. Just make it 2d art, side angle the long end of the bread at the bottom of the screen, and drop ingredients from the top of the screen. That makes it neigh impossible to straight miss, you can't clip through the bread as it is the bottom layer programmed in, but you can add 'overflow' and 'splash' for too many ingredients.
It isnt important but it makes things easier. I knew a few people who were shiny hunting in these games without shiny charm or herbas and they had encountered more than me before I got all the enhancers added.

Pokeblocks were overly difficult and 4d chess to make due to the battery running dry in RS (which they took the time to patch with emerald), but they were still a lot of fun with friends.

Its like they wanted to added more content and do what they couldnt do with the curry in sword and shield but in the end, it could have been easily left out. You rarely ever need Encounter Power unless you’re doing a non-Mass Outbreak (such as a Paradox Pokémon in Area Zero for example). Most of the hunts I’ve done I just choose 2 of whatever Herba because the odds are always boosted with Sparkling Power just the same. At the very least Encounter Power might stop Pokémon of other types spawning near your outbreak, but generally if you know how the spawns work from an outbreak then you don’t have to worry too much. This is why Humungo and Teensy are highlighted in the spreadsheets here as they are a good alternative.

But I'll happily stack eggs if it cuts herba consumption to 1. Then again if you do this in multiplayer and then close your game without saving so everyone else gets shinies and you keep your herba, rice drop is the way.

For every Pokémon type shown in this video there is an option for Encounter Power, which you only really need for non-Mass Outbreaks. Using Encounter Power for a Mass Outbreak may slightly prevent other Pokémon in vicinity of the outbreak from spawning, but it barely has any effect on the actual outbreak itself. Click the description to fast forward to the Pokémon type you are hunting!
@@Shadowkage88you can also do an encounter power 2 grass or dragon sandwich to increase your chances of finding an applin outbreak. Do the date skip method with that sandwich while standing where the outbreak spawns.
Basically increase the chance Pokémon will be a smaller size than average, like how humungo power increases the chance Pokémon will be larger than average. In simpler terms, more small pokémon.
With no disrespect to your discord I’m just not extremely savvy and don’t use it much. Do you have combinations on there for each type for encounter specific (as in, other condiment combinations you can add to get encounter in each type, if you don’t want to use salty?)
It’s all good. Yep all encounter powers are covered in this video. Hopefully screenshotting the tables in this video is clear enough. All the time stamps for all the types are in the description too and will take you straight to where you want to go.
This might be great for situations like yours to cut time but I timed how long it took me to get a shiny after knocking out 60 pokemon on average with a shiny charm and no sandwiches takes me 1 hour, maybe 2 of running away and back to reset spawns if I'm unlucky. Its just so easy already. 😌 I even had two shiny minior show up one after the other. It's so broken. I never need to bother with herba 🌿

Look up papa Jeffes recipes, the guy’s come up with recipes that require one ingredient, two herbas and that’s it
local trainer eats an entire loaf of bread and catches 15 shinies
2022: you don’t need the top bread
2023: you don’t need ingredients
2024: just believe the sandwich is there and it works

I really wish there was! Sadly at present there is no known way to split up Encounter Power 3 and Title Power 3 from each other.

Tera raids for specific pokemon. They only drop from 5+ star raids.

Just go on Twitch and search for one of the many bots that auto host raids that give you 10 Herba each time you win. You’ll have a bunch in no time!

@@Shadowkage88you can also do an encounter power 2 grass or dragon sandwich to increase your chances of finding an applin outbreak. Do the date skip method with that sandwich while standing where the outbreak spawns.
I did the water sandwich, and got no Shiny Basculin (but I did get Shiny Lombre)
Task failed successfully in the best way :)

Basically increase the chance Pokémon will be a smaller size than average, like how humungo power increases the chance Pokémon will be larger than average.
In simpler terms, more small pokémon.
Is it possible to not increase the odd of a shiny wirh this method? I want to stay fullodds

With no disrespect to your discord I’m just not extremely savvy and don’t use it much. Do you have combinations on there for each type for encounter specific (as in, other condiment combinations you can add to get encounter in each type, if you don’t want to use salty?)
It’s all good. Yep all encounter powers are covered in this video. Hopefully screenshotting the tables in this video is clear enough. All the time stamps for all the types are in the description too and will take you straight to where you want to go.

This might be great for situations like yours to cut time but I timed how long it took me to get a shiny after knocking out 60 pokemon on average with a shiny charm and no sandwiches takes me 1 hour, maybe 2 of running away and back to reset spawns if I'm unlucky. Its just so easy already. 😌 I even had two shiny minior show up one after the other. It's so broken. I never need to bother with herba 🌿
You're talking about outbreaks though, which are entirely different and have very different odds to other shiny hunting methods

If I find a way I’ll be sure to post it. There is a sandwich with Sparkling Power you can buy in the Blueberry Academy I believe though
