These Strega edutainment videos are really helpful. They are helping me get more fun sounds out of it, than I was getting by myself. Love my new Strega, and pairing it with my other modular gear. Today it was interacting with my Benjolin, in a most joyous way :-) So many fun ways to put all the pieces together, to make interesting sounds. I'm spending many happy hours, exploring the infinite pathways to chaotic music, it allows.
that ring mod effect is a game changer. like I already loved this and now I love it even more. I just spent easily an hour just running random world folk music through this thing experimenting with that. So pumped to actually record some stuff through it.
One other thing that comes to mind is a some drone passed into a NeonEgg Planetarium 2 that then is pumping its compressor (ducking) that then goes into the Strega to become a glitchy pumping sound. I dunno if that is exactly what it would sound like, but I'd like to try.
Great idea! I think I'll try some polka music through it. And some Mexican Mariachi music. Strega opens the door, to some strange alternate sound realities.
That is a Zoom H1 handy recorder, which I find useful for this purpose because it has a line level output on a mini-jack and so it can be patched directly to the Strega input with no adapters or preamps necessary.
This is either the perfect ambient machine or the stuff which nightmares are made. I didn’t know about the envelope follower, it took me a while to understand this is an unique instrument. BTW, the video about acoustic sounds didn’t show up :( bad luck for future viewer.
I still have good reflexes: What is quicker? Mute, lower volume or just take out the headphones as fast as I can and press the cups together when I heard you say "sandwich time"? I still saw you chewing it though, forgot to close my eyes :)
This exactly why I got one. I use it as a unique noise oscillator, I was a little surprised it doesn’t have midi! And disappointed! It’s a great unit still, but I’m going virtual with before and after, I lol be experimenting with that soon! I actually have built in windows 11 computer with an excellent fitted screen on the rack itself! I’ll be on UA-cam pretty soon with that set up. Many people think, as I did it takes special equipment and that’s just not true.any midi to Cv will work, especially using a large undefined mult like the Behringer 100 series mult will work!
The adapter cable is included with Strega. The power supply is not strong enough to power all three devices but it can power two of them, and yes it will work with 0-CTRL.
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Awesome, thanks! Great to hear. Any plans to release a specific two or (hopefully) three tier stand for the Strega, 0-Coast and 0-CTRL?
@@TheOriginSoundtrack If you are handy with tools, they are not hard to make. Just need a saw and a drill. Some thin plywood and a can of spray paint. If that is not your cup of tea, then try google, I think I saw some for sale somewhere.

Ooo, can u post a video of these. Suuuper curious
I seriously can’t wait to get my hands on this
An updated version with midi/quarter inch jack would be great
Funniest video I've seen so far of Walker. You're not afraid of looking and sounding goofy and I absolutely adore that. Happy bleeping and blooping!
Wait - I look goofy? 😳

The amazing electronic echo is the closest I’ve ever heard to my brain on LSD back in 1990
Korg Volca Drum, Elektron Model:Cycles, (or any other drum machine) through the Strega is bossokanova!
Yay!
I’d love a deep dive into the melodic side of Strega when used with something like a Keystep or Rene
Got mine today around noon. Experimenting with a few tape loops and came out the other side of a 4 hr vortex. Whu happend!!??
Somehow I feel a future version of the Daelek voice will utilize the Strega.
Noice :D it's a must-have for any serious 0-Coast owner :) added to my synth purchase list
Cool hair, cool machine.
HI! I wanted to ask you what kind of microphone should I use to connect to the strega, which model is used in this example? Thanks!

Whistling into a dead cat? I'm in.
Schrödinger, you bastard..
@@dr.feelicks2051 I mean, at least the poor cat's out of the box. Strega experiments are way more fun than thought experiments. Even if you're dead.

Sigh, I need- ----a Strega
Hey MakeNoise nice one. Love it. Is there any other 0-Coast + Strega only combo examples?

Wild! Just got a Strega a couple of weeks ago. I'll be busting out my Zoom H4 to feed it things. This is seriously wild!
Have a fun time!
you where enjoying the mic a little bit too much there ha!
great video, inspired!
thanks
Wow I just can imagine process a patch from my modular through strega... What are the odds..? 🤯
Odds are good, possibilities are endless :-)
It is a beast, can't imagine my setup without it, now that I have played with it for a while.
could've been called Instant Wolf Eyes as well as Strega.
The next collaboration should definitely be called Instant Wolf Eyes!
you read my mind. Would be so fun in a noise band.
What is the splitter power cable? And where can you get it?
the splitter adapter is included with Strega.

Two strega
Strega-saw-us? Two Stregas? I'm sure that would cause a rip in the space-time continuum, sort of a Mobius Strega
That would be like crossing beams, in Ghost Busters.
Where can you buy the double power adapter? Is there a triple one for the 0-CTRL too or would you not recommend because of the touch controls?
