please marry me. i owe you something, i'm doing a final grade thesis about aerodynamics, and i wanted to bring a cfd simulation of a wing i designed on Inventor. the thing went smooth asf, thanks to this tutorial

Hi, is it possible to do a Wind Turbine simulation on Autodesk CFD where the wind could actually make the turbine rotors (assembly) actually rotate as well?

When I added the pressure on the back face of the tunnel it didn't give me any results, strangely when I removed the pressure component, it did

how do I create the model in autodesk inventor?
specifically, how do i make my actual object and the surrounding domain around it as separate things?

You don't have to model it in Inventor. You can also import .step or other CAD formats. If you don't include the "wind tunnel" as a seperate object in your CAD file you can add it in CFD with the geometry tool

Excuse me sir, can Autodesk Inventor 2017 compatible to simulate with autodesk CFD 2019?

Hello, Any chance you still have your CFD 2016? the current CFD 2019 has some bugs. One of which is the solver always stops unexpectedly..

I've checked in books equation for aero forces etc and... why is it total surface area not just a cross section?

sir, how to cancel the six surfaces in wall calculator thanks :)

Hi, first you click on wall calculator, then click ok the double check marks, that selects all the components. We need the values of the body only, so just deselect the wall by click them.
