Janelle needs to do ASMR. She has such a rich, dark, sophisticated, yet soothing voice. She's very eloquent and it's like every word she says resonates.

Id agree with you if we were talking about Archandroid or to an extent Electric Lady but you can't look at the singles for Dirty Computer and tell me that it's gonna be a R&B album. Make Me Feel had super Princey Pop Funk vibes, Django Jane was straight up hip-hop, and Pynk was some kind of futurist synth pop summer anthem. It's hard to pin the album down right now, so putting it under pop as an umbrella term seems to make sense. It's unlikely to be an album in the same vein of Archandroid at this point

I love Janelle. Back in 2009 I found her on a space age pop internet station which usually played weird/creepy/obscure lounge and exotica. I heard "Sincerely, Jane" and was an instant fan. Fun to see how big she has gotten since then.
She’s so well-spoken and intelligent. When she thinks back to the time when she was broke and survived on ramen and was fired from Office Depot, she recognizes that those days motivated her to become the amazingly talented artist, aesthete and renaissance woman that she is today.
I have watched this several times just to hear her speak. What a beautiful accent.
