G'day Claire n Jeremy Oh my Buddha packed like a sardine can here inP/P , absolutely huge from the last time I was here enjoy , Siem Reap's water festival , Catchya
Ah, I forgot to put in the subtitles, that cry is called the 'Voice of Victory'. Really spine-tingling in person, and the response of all the guys in the boats... just electric.
Cheers for uploading, my mate Dan sent a photo this morning but a video brings the vibe better. Its a miserable grey rainy day here in Germany 0°c Snow predicted for later Brrrrr
Both For Riel & Itchy Feet, are the light of my day! Thank you for your continuous time & effort of bringing your fans weekly content from the kingdom!
Wow! Awesome footage 😊! Lucky you to always get into the VIP zone. The water festival is my favourite event in Cambodia. November to February are my favourite months of the year in Cambodia.
Great video folks !! Thanks : you capture the fun & exciting Siem Reap riverside atmosphere of this beautiful festival / carnival very well . I heard it was the first " Water Festival " in 4 years , coz of all the Covid upheaval . Siem Reap / Angkor Wat = the heart & soul of Cambodia ❤ !!
For Riel and Itchy need to start their own boat next year and race= true comparison… No pratit(parade of boats) but SR should have floating lanterns at night…
Very happy for SiemReap people this year is very good one for cambodian tourism. hope that many people will come to get good experience in Cambodia. Don't forget have some Akohw Ktish at PraDak village, that is very yummy 😋
There is a lot that needs to be mentioned here. 1) The Asian squat. I'm Khmer and I can't even do it. I'll tip over and fall. Kudos to you Claire. 2) The weather in November. Isn't it much cooler during the months of November, December and January? 3) Jeremy's issues 😉. Looks like it was addressed on day 2. Jeremy was pretty quiet on this day. 😜
Good idea getting dropped off. It is tricky getting around even on a bike. Nice coverage of the races, surprised blue managed to beat white in the end. White were really flying earlier. Good to know that you can crash the VIP seats. Congrats to big J for the early voice over transition from Burke and Wills to the Shining.
I had fun watching on UA-cam on Kampot and PP races, theirs seems bigger but the boats are far in the distance if you’re there in person. SR is smaller and quaint which I much prefer.
In Mekong delta, Southern Vietnam, our native Khmer are celebrating Bon Om Tuk, Ooc Om Bok in every provinces, especially in Khleang - Sóc Trăng province. Send love ^^
Bringing villagers to compete in rowing boats There were no athletes practicing for the rowing race. When the day and time arrived, come in and finish the competition. Foreign tourists have all fled to go to Loy Krathong in Thailand.
Certainly looks like a party! How do you get in the golden seat zone?? The 2016 organizers in PP were distributing free passes to foreigners. We were sitting high in a covered seating area. You would have thought Hun Sen was there. (Maybe he was.) Have a great week! (I'm arriving Wednesday for the race.)
Great to see a lot of people out and about out - I went to an identical festival which went for one full day in Khao Tao lake near Hua Hin Thailand 🇹🇭- it looks really busy and well supported 👌😃👋👍
You did a great coverage. Thanks a lot for visiting Cambodia!
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
And I already subscribed your channel. Waiting for more videos like this. @@ForRiel

It was such a fun event ☺
It looks like super fun! Thanks for sharing your video.
It was! Thanks for watching 😍
Nice filming. Looks so colourful.
Many thanks! I think SR water festival was better than PP as oi were closer to the action. Had a really nice vibe to the experience.
What a beautiful day for it and such a lovely video again,,,,😊😊😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Nice coverage wish I could’ve experienced this!
Next time! You would have loved all the food 🤤
People so friendly ❤
Yes they 😁
It seems like nobody has gone home food stalls everywhere and the atmosphere is still electric
The holiday was for 4 days so they just kept going.
Thanks for sharing with us 😊
Our pleasure 😊
Never been to Cambodia after 1975. Lucky you guys
Time to come back.
I sleep at home, But I still chill and enjoy when I watch your video.😁 Have a great day in Cambodia brother❤❤
Thanks! You too! 😇

Great video which show the Water Festival in SEIM REAB province, CAMBODIA. Thanks for sharing my transitional culture. ❤
Our pleasure! 😀

Yeah it was hectic alright! See you soon, Maddo!
That lady on the PA sidelines as a "Air Raid Siren", she was hitting some wild notes🙃🤣. Great atmosphere.
Ah, I forgot to put in the subtitles, that cry is called the 'Voice of Victory'. Really spine-tingling in person, and the response of all the guys in the boats... just electric.
It's look fun to visit there
It's full on 💦💦💦💦
❤❤🙏🇰🇭
💜❤💚🥰
Great, thank you both, wish I was there!🤩
Next time! 🤩
Haha, Jeremy has an issue with balloons, what a funny remark. Great video, i get happy when i see it. Take care.
Not all balloons, only the judging ones...🥳😜
I really enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing. The food looks so good and the boats are so beautiful. I'll check out Itchy now.
Yes it was really fun.
That's great as he knows where we live.....
A day at the races. Looks like a good time for all. 🎉
It's a very fun event 😊 maybe go to PP next year.
It doesn’t look hot! Looks like a fun day though. ❤️
The sun was hot, but it was really cool in the shade (not beanie weather).
nice 🎉 i love ya Video,thanks
So nice of you 🥰
This gives me more itchy feet to get to Cambodia 🇰🇭 what a fanastic atmosphere 👏 🌟 Thanks for the coverage guys 😊
No problem at all 😍
Great experience… SR is the heart and soul of Cambodia 🇰🇭, where BOTH starts by the Angkorian king, J VII.
It sure is! ❤💜🥳
That looks amazing, thanks Claire and Jeb.
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
It's so nice Cambodia 💗🤍
Beautiful this time of year.

Glad you enjoyed it, beautiful weather here.
Awesome video for riels!!! 🥰Looks so cool!!! Put some foldies out..........boom........😂
That's the plan for next year.
The golden chairs are for visitors, tourists, expats etc… amazing experience, BOT started from the Angkorian time…
That's so nice of them, we really didn't understand about the privilege seating. 🥰😍🤩

Just been to the river very busy and watched the fights so busy again
Did you guys make it this afternoon ??
We missed a lot as we didn't know so much was happening😢
Was in Phnom Penh in 2018 for Water Festival. Just so colourful and exciting. Makes the city come alive.
It certainly was alive. Everyone was in a fun and festive spirit ✨ 🙂
Both For Riel & Itchy Feet, are the light of my day! Thank you for your continuous time & effort of bringing your fans weekly content from the kingdom!
Glad you like them! 👍

Wow! Awesome footage 😊! Lucky you to always get into the VIP zone.
The water festival is my favourite event in Cambodia.
November to February are my favourite months of the year in Cambodia.
Was strange being let in, but it seems anyone visiting SR was allowed in. I'm unsure how they could tell the difference.....
@@ForRiel I just noticed that they had a section for international guests in Phnom Penh. They might had the same thing in Siem Reap.
Blessed to be in this part of the world at this time to experience a country’s traditional festival. It was a gas.
It sure was a really fun time had by all, we had a great time.
They have a bigger river in PP! 😂 But I like the way they filled ours up for the festival. Should keep it that way!
It was more intimate and fun. Had a great time.
I'm still in shock at that beanie! Siem Reap is easily the hottest place I have ever been to.
It was cool in the shade be a beanie...... 😂
nice video
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂

Our pleasure! Yes cancelled after the 2019 water festival due to Covid.
For Riel and Itchy need to start their own boat next year and race= true comparison… No pratit(parade of boats) but SR should have floating lanterns at night…
They do have floating lanterns but after a the busy days and editing we missed them. But next year for sure.
Very happy for SiemReap people this year is very good one for cambodian tourism. hope that many people will come to get good experience in Cambodia. Don't forget have some Akohw Ktish at PraDak village, that is very yummy 😋
We agree! Will give it a try some time.
What a great video loved the boats all lined up VIP 2 days in a row 😂word has got out now on your celebrity status in this town. 😂
Legen...wait for it......dary 😎
Wonderful experience. This is turning out to be bigger than the last one in 2019. Enjoy it!
There was so much on we will need to get some extra helpers to film next year.
I can help next year for sure! @@ForRiel

Yes, but the sun was melting us( it was around 3pm).
Jeremy's are never resolved 🤣😂

DJ Pink Bits is always a good time 🤩
Welcome 😂😂❤
Hello 👋
🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭
💜❤💚😂😂😍
PP has bigger boats, bigger river, the king , more people but SR has the heart and Jeremy phobia… same same but different…
phnom penh needs more culture. need more khmer tradition and architecture
I think the smaller area makes for a better community event, it felt special.
@@ForRiel go big or go home to SR… win win win
Beantay Chhmar’s BOT is the only one that is at the Angkorian mode… even smaller than SR but very cool as well…
I had fun watching on UA-cam on Kampot and PP races, theirs seems bigger but the boats are far in the distance if you’re there in person. SR is smaller and quaint which I much prefer.

Sounds great! We will be heading over to Vietnam next year for sure.
Very cool experience... Great job... Missing the King., SR stacks up well against the mighty PP.
True that! Was better having the races so close to the crowd.
I was there at the same time!!!!!! The last 2 days of the it was absolutely wild with the firetruck
We will be at the wet area tomorrow to see what it's like.
🇰🇭🇺🇸❤️👍 !

Bringing villagers to compete in rowing boats There were no athletes practicing for the rowing race. When the day and time arrived, come in and finish the competition. Foreign tourists have all fled to go to Loy Krathong in Thailand.
It's amazing that none of them had rowed before , as they were very good at it. Cambodians can do anything it seems.
The Gold Zone sitting seemed to be for anyone who asked. We kinda strange but it was great to get so close to the action.

Very cool! 😍
Were you out of country during the last one? :)
We arrived Dec 2019 and during Covid it was cancelled.
@@ForRiel so, during the last one, 2018, you were out of country, so the answer is "yes"! Wonderful! Hehe.
lordy but PP water festival is crowded and too much zoo for me, did it a few years back, retreated to Kampong Cham. Yours was fine :)
SR was busy but it was more open than the New Year celebrations, it all flowed well.
I thought it's going to be like songkran
You would think so, going from the name. It was a fun time had by everyone.
