- My Big box. Snap-on KCP1423WHF 73" Triple bank. Diesel Technician. Served in the Army for 25 years as a Diesel tech. Experience working on the Detroit Diesel 8V92, Detroit Diesel series 60, Caterpillar C5 C7 and C15, and the Honeywell AGT1500. I now work on Chrysler vehicles, mostly the 5.9 and 6.7 Cummins. Tekton sockets are great!! their warranty process is painless and quick
I have Milwaukee impacts nothing wrong with them they work fine and I had to warranty one also painless but there’s a slight weight difference in tekton (heavier) than the Milwaukees my coworker has the tekton and I like them for the few times I had to borrow one

3/8 Snap On ratchet better than the 3/8 Milwaukee? You’re crazy man. 😂😂
Milwaukee ratchets suck. The only one that is decent is the insider. Literally gave mine away when I got my snap on. Not every one can afford snap on though… and that’s understandable.

Yes you could use the vacuum filler as a pressure tester but you won’t be building pressure and if you open it to create pressure you’ll more than likely break stuff if coolant isn’t drained. Had a buddy thought it could be used for pressure testing and blew off a coolant hose

I use iphone.
These are my wrenches. I use them for high pressure fuel pumps. These are my sockets I use for high pressure fuel pumps. My hammers for those stuck high pressure fuel pumps
Recall my dude… I’ve done about 40 of them in 6 months. Joys of working at a dealership. I can say this with certainty though, not a lot of people in the state can do them more efficiently than me.
You can get a 30K box hutch etc because Snap-on will give you what you paid for your box. Say I wanted to trade my Epiq in on a different color and get a hutch whatever. With trade-in and rebate that knocks it in half! Assuming you can double up on payments and not pay all that interest.
Those old universal vacuum coolant fill tools are outdated if you work on all cars. Sometimes that thing just won’t work.
I opted to get the new Zeus+ instead of a hutch. Final price was only $8500. Best thing I ever bought! 10 times better than my Launch or old Solus.
Thinking back I had the old Modis and now the Zeus+, tools that really make a big difference in your life. No regrets.
@user-yu6yi1zm1w Hardware don’t last on those. Plus they may do more on certain models, but they never do all they claim todo. Snap-on does and works on what they say it work on.
The newer ones and my Zeus+ is Windows 10 based with high resolution screen and better touch. Way better than the old Snap-on tools like the Solus.
Zeus+ and the Triton D10 I tested is crazy fast compared my Launch and others.

In your opinion how is the snap on electric ratchets better than the Milwaukee electric ratchets?
Both have ups and downs. The snap ons are lightning fast and the batteries seem to last longer. BUT THEY ARE EXPENSIVE. Really Expensive. THe milwaukees are much cheaper and they have a lot more selection of tools but they seem really slow and for a flat rate tech time is money. I also like the Milwaukee pas through ratchet. One of the lube techs in our shop has it.
