Just ordered this Pro Mini with a 256 GB M.2 SSD. That will be replaced by a much larger M.2 SSD (2280 of course) and now, seeing the limited space for it and that "thermal cover", I wonder about the compatibility of M.2 SSDs from other manufacturers. Some have passive heatsinks on their SSDs - what is the maximum height for it? What happens with the thermal cover when using a different SSD with it's own (sometimes better) heatsink? Is there a compatibility list?

I own this PC with 16GB and 512 GB SSD since a few days. I have an active USB-3.0 Hub with several 2,5" HDDs connected. When I start the PC with powered external drives it take severals minutes to start... (without external drives connected it only takes a few seconds). Is there any way to change that, exept connecting/starting the external drive every time? (I looked for the boot sequence settings in the Bios (first ESC then f10) but could not find it --> this was without connected external drives btw, because with that extremly slow start it is not possible to hit ESC in the right moment) - Thank you!
