Thanks for sharing such good information. Photo of Smt. Byramma along with senior person is available with me, (it is also available if google). The message shown besides the photo reads as Smt. Byramma swam 18hrs. nonstop in kempambudhi kere creating world record on 19th may 1930. It is true as Mr. Rajkumar Venkatesh mentioned below she was residing in manvarthipet. In fact, she was younger sister of my grandmother. Thanks for providing more information of our ancestor.
Thanks for the episode on Kempambudhi lake and sharing all the information about the lake. It's sad that urbanization has taken a toll of such a historic lake. Also for a girl to take up swimming challenges at the age of 10 in the late 1930's is in itself an achievement. Byramma should have received more recognition from the government and swimming associations of the state.

I live next to the lake and it was dead waste land for 35 + years until Siddaramaiah released funds from state budget and brought it back to life in 2018 . Your video would not have been possible without the work of Siddarmiah.
Why don't you do a story on Jangama Masacre where 400 Lingayath Swamiji / Jangamas were beheaded by Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar. Make a video on this topic so that your credibility as a historian increases.
