    Wow, dude you gotta be careful talking about what is and is not covered. There's a lot of incorrect info in this video. Insurance coverage is 1000x more complex and situationally dependant than you seem to know.

    • @InsuranceRestorationTraining
      @InsuranceRestorationTraining  2 роки тому +1

      Is that right? Let’s start with the first incorrect thing that I seem to have said. I’m listening. The last time I checked, I live in America and the First Amendment gives me the right to speak freely. So why is it that I would need to be careful. I’m educating contractors. I don’t see the problem here. Thanks for watching and for commenting. Take care. 🙏💖👊😉

      @@InsuranceRestorationTraining I like your videos and your content for the most part. I think you help contractors find the benefit in a professional and logic based approach to "the insurance game," but dude, some of your explanations of coverage here seem somewhat uninformed. I think you're jumping to a lot of incomplete conclusions based on little peeks behind the curtain here and there throughout your 22 year career on the outside of the insurance industry. I like you, but you gotta know, insurance coverage is very precise and nuanced, and there's no room for assumptions or guesswork. A lot of new adjusters in the first several years of their careers still haven't gotten their arms around the vastness of the property policies and coverage, much less the state by state case law. Keep up the great videos, but just be careful about discussing what is and isn't covered.

      I agree. And I appreciate your thoughtful explanation. Thanks for taking the time to explain where you are coming from. And I will try to watch what I say. But unfortunately there is so much time I have in these videos. I have all day training events and an online training course with over 30 hours of content. I dive deep down into these issues in my training. And in other videos, I explain much further. And I have always tried to share my real life case studies when certain situations have arisen that have taught me all manner of things throughout 23 years. Just trying to share my experiences to help contractors. Once again, thank you… I will be careful. 👊😉🙏💖

      I can understand the honest conversation and it’s very helpful but i don’t think contractors (customers included)understand how much policy plays apart in the claim….a lot people think that an insurance claim gives them a chance to redecorate which is not the case, we are trying to get the home pre loss conditions

    I believe they need a seperate policy for flooding . Indoor water damage inside is due to water pipe damage.

    • @InsuranceRestorationTraining
      @InsuranceRestorationTraining  Рік тому

      It wasn’t from a flood. Flooding occurs when other water sources - like a river or ocean - surges into the property. Damage from a broken pipe is covered under most standard policies under water damage. Florida has limits usually for water damage claims… maximum amount payable. This job that I was talking about wasn’t in Florida though; it was in Texas. Anyway… thanks for watching and for the comment! 🙌🙏👊😉
