Hey thanks for the quick response. Its been turboed 4 years that's amazing. If you powershift the tranny alot i hear they blow quick but i wont be doing that too much till i upgrade tranny. I was actually thinking of selling my si for evo but the increase cost in insurance and maintenance is alot more than an si.

@hyper16johnny ya you pulled hard oof the line and keep pulling on top end ,I was hooking all the gears but I bogged at the line with 2.0 60ft
ts all in the person some people like to use the stock flywheel more mass rpms will stay longer to drop, easier to drive clutch, it keeps your rpms up when shifting stay in boost . And some like to use super light flywheel less mass rpms drop quicker and hard to drive the clutch but better response, more power to the ground,less weight and rev faster. There is more but I don't feel like explaining everything lol just Shift fast and won't need a heavy flywheel to stay in boost

Yes I never had a problem with the stock motor its been turbo for 5 years now and this car is 100% my DD and its the only car I have,its all about the tune.what turbo kit do u have ? Did u get your car tune ?

Hey man whats up ive been serioulsy thinking about boosting my fa5 which has only 28k miles. How's the motor holding up? Do you daily drive the car? If i boost imma daily the car every day so i need to know if its safe for DD.
really because i just boosted mine and 4 days later i got a check engine light for a missfire in cylinder 3 and my motor only had 30k miles on it just dropped it off today to get the coils and plugs tested and if those pieces arent the problem im going to freak out because eveyrone claimed 420whp is fine for stock motor and its been 4 days for me and have a missfireing cylinder already youve really never had 1 problem ever with your motor in 4 years?

yaa they put colder ones in do you really think its possible to blow valves or internal in literally 4 days ? i feel like thats almost not even possible like i said the motor only had 30k on it what do you think the problem is any suggestions? like the car runs and everything will boost fine but then after a while it will start puddering and almost sound liek a suburau and then run crappy cel flashes then if you live it off for a couple hours itll go back 2 good untill u boost then get bad again
I would call srt about the problem if noting is wrong with the coils and plugs. You got colder spark plugs?

Ya don't power shift you'll break tranny but its alright when your all motor your not making that much tq,I never powershift when I went turbo only when I was all motor

what size width tires you running up front? 215 or 235?
My guess is something is wrong with tune,go to 8thcivic.com post about your problem on the turbo section somebody may know what's wrong with it
