For the people saying this is a copy of glam and gore’s video- she actually mentioned a lot of valuable information that was different from mykie’s video, for example using different utensils to scoop the product from the silicone so you don’t ruin the product, and using a stipling sponge for blood.
Also her technique for liquid latex was completely different from mykie’s. I love mykie, but to be honest I actually think this method of layering thin tissue paper and cutting it looks better than mykie’s technique of 2 rolls of cotton.
I don’t understand why everyone’s upset that she “copied” her, as if there aren’t a million brown Smokey eye tutorials lol
Yea lol I love them both
And it’s better to have more than one tutorial so people can find out how to find there easy way
Dripping Moonlight EXACTLY
I know this is not gonna help a lot but dont ever listen to the haters
Your works are beautiful and so realistic and you should keep doing what you love no matter what
Valentina Guazzerøni ..except not make it look like glam and Gore's tutorial
@@ella8403 she didn't copy glam and gore so many people have made these types of videos
She does not copy. Millions of people do tutorials like this. And maybe glam and gore is a role model
ben nye the makeup guy
BEN, BEN, BEN, BEN, BEN, BEN

For removing scar wax, you can use the spatula and like get it under the wax and kind of scrape it off and it will come off on the spatula. It might take more than one swipe if you have a bigger cut/wound though, but it does work really well for getting the wax off.
Okay so I’m only seconds in but just had to pause to say your eyes are GORGEOUS! The color, yes, but the shape! The lid space!
Thanks! This along with the Glam & Gore version was very helpful! I don't like how people are biting your head off for accidentally not crediting Glam & Gore before uploading your video. You're not taking anything away from her video. People need to realize that there are more than 1 sfx artist in the world. Every artist has different tips, tricks, and personalities. I liked both but the lighting for the silicon was better on this video than the glam & Gore one. BUT i liked how glam & gore did the wax more. UA-cam and special effects have been around forever. I'm pretty sure if you search the depths of the internet you'll find someone else did a 3 cut sfx tutorial before glam & gore too. People are so sensitive and easily butt-hurt nowadays. CHILL!
this video helped me a lot! Thanks so much for actually showing the different types of stuff you can use to make cuts!
These cuts are great! I’m going to do this on Halloween, and I’m super exited! Beautiful!
This is the best SFX tutorial, she also tells some important information about the prosthetics.
It's really good but I would use less blood to make it more realistic
Hi
I just subscribed! I want to learn to do things like this to take my cosplaying to the next level!! You're so cooolll!! I'm in awe
I'm a year late but so so thankful for this video! I've recently been getting more into doing SFX but am highly allergic to latex and have been seeking good alternatives. This shows me a very good way to use other products, thank you!
@F0RTRAIL that's a strange question? I mean I don't use latex condoms. They make non latex ones, they're just different. Also birth control is a thing
more realistic would be having the swelling on them scares as well, great vi hun :)
i'm a lady of 21 years old now enrolling in a make up school i love your video and will love to follow you
Yessss the silicone is the best looking. Thank you for sharing
I'm super new to doing this sort of thing, mostly worked in makeup and I'm older so I'm late to the game. This was very helpful. I always thought you had to use adhesive to get the scar wax to stick.
This was so helpful! thanks!!
Such an amazing tutorial !!!!!
You saved my Halloween party thank you
Good Job! This is very informative. Helped me greatly with prepping for my Wilderness First Aid Class.
How did this help? No hate.
Thank you for this tutorial, so easy and clear! What do you think about the scar wax from Ben Nye? Is it ok to apply it without any kind of glue on the skin?
Great Video! Ive learned so much! About to binge watch all ur videos! And I'll be sure credit you in my videos!
I love your videos on Instagram I’m actually doing one of your looks for Halloween this year☺️
Thx!!! Was a good help!!!
Great video, thank you for this! I just have a question regarding the modelling wax, if you sweat will the wax melt off? I'm going to a party and I know it's going to be hot lol
Your voice is so cute 😍😄
Voll cool😍👏
This is great info to have! Thank you x
so talented. love u 💋
Hi~ This is just a personal tip, but what I did was use tweezers to pull up the latex "skin" until it looked okay to cut. It worked for me, the one very klutzy person that wants to cut them self up for Halloween but not irl
this is so helpful!!
Does the wax dries up?? Or does it stays moldeable forever??
маяía tisca thats what i was thinking
I use scar wax and sometimes i accidentally leave it out for a while and nothing happens, and it’s still moldible. I don’t really think it can dry up.
i kept mine out for 2 days by accident and it didn’t do anything to it
Scar wax is simmilar to modeling clay. Even if it is left out it will not dry out. If it is cold out it will harden. If its hot it will melt.
How is this unprofessional, it's amazing!!!!!!!!
Sali w i thought the same!
Enjoyed your tutorial! Just a couple of things - two-layered tissues are usually referred to as "two-ply", and the medical term for cuts are "lacerations".
I must find my way to Norway one of theses days..
Aaaah Ameiiiiiiii minha linda 😍 um bjooo do BRASIL 😍😍😍
Waoo, good tutorial. I really enjoy your explanation, very clear and simple
Thanks for the video very helpful❣
Hi, I love your videos !!! One question, can I put some latex around the wax for better sealing?
You are stunningly BEAUTIFUL!! And this may sound weird, but you have gorgeous teeth!
Great job, thanks for sharing.I’m sure you already know this but I also have heard ,a lady never gets tired of hearing how pretty she is and you are a very pretty girl.Ummmm , The profile picture is of my wife,I ‘m on her computer. You are not the only make up artist I watch but you are one of the best. Keep up the good work.
mary sisemore have you seen glam and gore? I think she is the best and she goes into more detail with things like this
PERFECT
So, uh, yeah, i was looking for tutorial like this and found your channel, so like yeah, I watched this video. Yeah
Thanks for sharing the disclaimer in the beginning; I found that really responsible, mature and polite. You also provide few safety tips about using scissors or sharp objects + hair protection as well. Keep up the good job!
You are really good at make up! where are you based? US?
I am from Germany. We are about to shoot a short film, a good one.. and it is just taking for me a lot of time to get my head around this make-up stuff. I wish I could have a talented person like you around to just get things done, instead of me, sitting on internet, trying to get expertise on film-makeup and trying to save the world alone! lol
Come say hi if you ever come to Europe, especially Germany ;) i have a thing or two to learn from you.
god bless you Karolina.
Thanks you.. lots of info fast
Can I just say your really pretty!
I usually use vaseline to remove the wax, it works pretty good!
For amateur you’re doing great👍🏼.
You don’t need to be a professional your way is still valid.
Thank you so much❤❤❤
Do you recommend using glue for the scar wax ? I gave seen many people do so, I have a Halloween shoot coming up and I got latex but like scar wax look better.
This was helpful
Ur so pretty!!!
Wow this is nice 💯💯💯
Which one would you recommend for a Halloween party? Searching for something that holds pretty much all night🙈
I love the wax
Thanks!!
Wowowowo, Polka takie rzeczy robi :O
You are so good KE
E
When using the wax, it's not necessary to apply any adhesive under it? It will remain in tack?
OMG you are so awesome
Girl you do things I mean your tuturials are awsome like this comment if you like this video
wow nice
I love your work and I want to do this for Halloween but because I'm younger, what should I use instead of scissors x
MollyPowley there are scissors just like hers but with a rounded point, those are great for this and also are used for cliping kid nails
MollyPowley you can use nail clippers and a knife and I know a knife isn't that much better
I like her but she talks to much
MollyPowley ..dude
Thank u for this video! I have a question...how do you remove the silicone from your skin?
It peels off or you can remove it with baby oil
So... how do you get all of this off by the end of the day? Just «scoop» it off or?
You are awesome 😍. I love you 💗
do i need to use adhesive for longer wearing and strong attach of that on my skin?is it necessary to use adhesive on silicone?
💞
I hate the smell of liquid latex but I love using it 😅
If you don't have any of those three things, what could you use? PVA glue works okay-ish for me but it isn't often I do makeup like this, it's mostly for halloween or if I am extremely bored.
XxStolencexX You can make the modeling wax easily with Vaseline and flour, I just watched a video and saw there were other videos on making liquid latex. Good luck 😉
sorry to break it to you lady, but aah you are a professional, if these are the result you get without having gone to school for this, its just amazing. As a matter of fact I used some of your scarring tutorials as a reference for a character i am working on. good stuff keep it up
Yep this is definitely Glam and Gore haha but good work though
Tyler Marshall Special effects check the bio.. 👀
Ur really pretty I’m so ugly I’m jealous 😂
You get get alot of this stuff right after halloween and it will most likely be on sale
Use Nigels... Mykie uses it because it doesn't have a horrible scent
Very clever
you have Polish roots?
Are you using tissues (like Kleenex) or tissue paper (like used for gifts)? With the rip sounds, it seems like tissue paper?
I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUU :)
HEALTH ME.
Can we use something else other from the liquid latex to make liquid latex cut ( sorry if my english is bad because I'm a Cambodian)
Thida Chan I’ve seen people use white school glue before
if you can't cut the latex, what should I do to get the slice in it (sorry if I said that wrong, English isn't my native language)
I would take tweezers and pull a tiny bit to make a little hole, then tear it with your fingers!
Lia Klimansky you would want to start with one side or your cut with a base of latex and an unrolled cotton ball and pull it apart, then do the other side the same then add foundation or a powder your shade or you can just leave it,then later add blood and irritation. If that didn’t help you you should go check out Glam and gores video to get a more throe of a video
I love your work! you are so gorgeous💓 What kind of oil do you use on your fingers so the wax doesn't stick to your fingers?
jayayeare _20 that to me honestly just looked like normal oil you’d use to cook eggs on a frying pan 😂 like olive oil or vegetable oil
U can remove the wax from the face with a spatula...
Press the spatula on on end and scoop drag it out ... Make sure u apply vaseline on the spatula before doing it
Try Nigel liquid latex it has very low ammonia xx
eg tenkte på glam&gore med en gang eg såg bildet men så såg eg d du hadde skrive😂🙌🏽
amazing eyes
Where do you get the spatula
først yay
The scar wax wouldn't stick to my skin smfh..maybe add spirit gum?
scar wax isnt usually sticky if it is made correct and the scar wax shouldnt be put on your face or any other constantly moved body part eg.. hand mouth or face, if you want ti to last as it will fall off
Before you put on the latex or silicone, make sure that you clean that part of your skin
How long does the model wax last
Why is everyone saying this is glam gore she is just trying to show us how to do this
Beautiful and Prettyyy :) 😍😊
How else should you cut latex?
Can you drop a link for the silicone
Ben Nye the makeup guy
im from norway to but i don't seem to find the moddeling-wax anywhere :/
ΨhγΜε get flour and Vaseline mix together until u get a dough
Guess no latex or silicone for guys cause of the hair/beard
We can always shave it off, shave it off.
You can get it off with baby oil . I know this because I work in a haunted house and do their makeup
Iv heard that olive oil works to remove the wax
