I felt really bad for dustin here. He really deserves to be the champion, now he is in his end of his carrear right now, probably the last fight with makachev. But dustin winning this fight against makachev seems quite slim, but it would be amazing to see if somehow dustin can pull out the win here. Personally i am very excited to witness this fight. Not that crazy, the lightweight division has only been around for 23 years. 12 champs in 23 years is pretty standard.
Look at featherweight, they've only had 7 champs in 18 years. Urijah Faber, Mike Brown and then Jose Aldo for 6 years straight, then Connor McGregor, Aldo again, Holloway, Volk and Ilia.
And Ilia only just became champ. When Volk was champ it was 6 champs in 17 years. That is crazy.
It's technically 8 if u count Jose Aldo becoming champ twice.

Eddie did not get ko by conner. He was still awake his eyes were open i remember that fight. They called it a TKO which is dumb because that means technical knock out and technically he didn't get knocked out. Ufc is strange
