I want to notify that as a woman who grew up in the 60 - 70 ies - the term Mein Fräulein was very common in the middle and upper class and very respectfully to obviously young girls. It’s not a minimizing way to address politely. Contrary - As a young girl I was always rather flattered. And it was common for elder gentlemen to be charming. For me an important thought is - to speak german together in this situation is saving them from eavesdropping. Love from Austria 🇦🇹

It depends on the translation and the language being translated into. I am learning German (Deutsch) and I understand the difference between formal and informal addresses to a person because my native language also has such forms.
