The Egyptian, restored and renovated, has reopened Nov. 9 2023. The Temple of Dendur lives again on Hollywood Boulevard!! Don't miss it.
At 2;14: King Tuts tomb was discovered in 1922 (not 1920).
Trying to figure out a date between the Holidays to get a chance to experience the renovation of the Grand Dame of the Boulevard. A big screen epic would be the best to test the projection and sound systems. Looking forward to it.
Grew up around this theater… my first date was here. Edward Scissorhand
Hopefully they will reopen The Egyptian soon and you can go to a retro screening of Edward Scissorhand. Thanks for commenting !

The theater is currently closed due to renovation. Depending on the program, ticket go for between ten and fifteen dollars per screening.
