New Garmin XR (Extended Range) Transducer Demo

Garmin's new XR Transducer in Forward, Down, and Perspective Modes. The images aren't as clear as I would like them. When I get it a little more dialed in, I will shoot another video.

Hate the $2,500 price!
Was in the Florida Keys and would have loved it.
Deep Water Fisherman carry a “Descending Device” to get their catches back down deep ASAP.
So much bette4 than “Fizzing” a fish.

Can the lvs 62 work on the transom mounted? How would you switch it to down to forward?

Im assuming this is still ran off the gls10 box? Also, my biggest concern is 0-100ft. Does the xr have better clarity in this range, or do you sacrifice some for being able to see out further? What is you opinion with clarity on 0-100ft on the xr compared to the lvs34?

Same box. You can see 0-100’ just fine. Simply turn the gain down.

Will it work on the transom forward facing while trolling offshore

I have a 106 ultra....Would all that range be too much to view on my smaller screen...Also what range does the 34 and xr compete equally before a difference is obvious....Id like to troll and see my bait depth compared to fish and ....View the fish on my garmin force trans in down to find depth of fish and adjust my bait to match and see that on live...Im thinkin the xr is my only option for 100 feet back n 25 feet down. to view my trolling lures...thx.

Go with the 34. The XR is more for saltwater
