Last season, everyone was unhyped going in to the season expecting RB to dominate, turned out to be a banger of a season. Imagine going in to this season all hyped and then RB ends up dominating.
Honestly, if anyone dominates this year, it’s gonna be a bummer. If it’s RB it’ll be extra lame, but my hype level is really dependent on having like 4 competitive teams and that is not where I expected to be this time last year.
It's almost poetic. One driver (Leclerc) is fighting for his first WDC and the other is fighting for his 8th and last WDC. If Ferrari end up having a solid car it could be incredible watching them fight at the top.
really depends on whether or not hamilton can replicate some of his best performances. if a 2012/2018 hamilton reappears at ferrari, leclerc is absolutely done. on the contrary, if this is a 2024 lewis hamilton, leclerc is about to have the best teammate resume ever as he beat vettel and hamilton...
if i learned anything from f1 is that whenever experts predict something, the opposite happens. We are predicting an incredible equal season, like 2012, which means we might get a total dominance.
If Mclaren (the favourites) dominate, we could see a massive title fight between Norris and Piastri. If the project 677 gamble pays off for Ferrari, we could see a title fight between Hamilton and Leclerc. However, if both of these pan out, and Red Bull, Aston Martin and Mercedes get their act together, we will have a 5-way constructors battle and a 7-way driver's fight (between Piastri, Verstappen, Norris, Leclerc, Hamilton and Alonso). If these don't work, we'll still have 6 rookies for laughs, 2 of which are in top 4 teams. Edit: and Russel.

Don't do this to me, I just got my first F1 merch in the form of a Lando hat. I mean, I like both of them, but let's not skip ahead a year pleeeeease hahaha. Loving how badass Oscar is.
On Albon, he had a rough year in '24. I really do think the car was to blame. Like, remember how in '22, the Ferrari loved to lose the rear and do a 180 into the wall; multiple times for both Sainz and Leclerc? We saw a similar pattern with the '24 Williams with all three drivers; the car repeatedly lost the rear in high speed corners, putting the driver in an unrecoverable slide.
I don’t think there’s any way to tell who could win either championship. Three of the top four teams have new lineups and if the top four teams are equal there’s at least four or six drivers that could battle for the championship.
Ah yes, the good old Russell fanboy that is under every F1 related video back at it again. If the top 4 teams have somewhat closely matched cars over the season then there‘s only 1 driver who will easily win the championship and we all know who that is. The fact that people are still delusional enough to think that anyone can match Max over a season in comparable machinery is actually way too funny. Get real mate
The final six races LeClerc, Verstappen, Sainz, Norris and Russell all within one win of each other. Yes. And for the middle 12 Piastri outscored them all.
I think another element of chaos is that teams will be *very* tempted to stop development on their '25 cars as soon as possible to get the biggest possible head start on the '26 ruleset, so it's going to be a game of chicken towards the end of the season, even more than usual
Love the new mic quality and really excited to follow you guys into the new season. While you are budgeting for upgrades, any way we could get 2k or 4k video? It makes a big difference

🔥🔥🔥Great video guys! I’m CRAZY excited for this season! I’ve got serious withdrawal. It’s real. And I’m extra excited to experience it with P1 and the P1 fam. 🤗
It's deffo the most exciting start to the season we've had in recent years, lets hope it lives up to expectation, all the rookies are given a fair chance and there's a bit of unpredictability like last season!
As a Lando fan, I’ve earmarked 2025 for quite a few years now as the year where Lando could legitimately fight for and even win a championship! 2024 was a bit of a surprise, but it could end up being the best learning curve he could’ve had going into this year. He is the bookies favourite at the moment, let’s hope that this is his year! 🤞🏻
Lewis v Charles if Ferrari get their shit together is going to be so insane 🤩 (I think Charles will win it, just because Lewis will be adjusting up - else way too close to call)
Do you think Toto dyes his hair? 😂 They're talking up Kimi because he likes to _dive bomb/send it,_ but isn't that what people got mad about Max doing last year? Or is it ok to do if you're a Merc driver?
Suddenly Red Bull and Max got their shit together and it'll be even more dominant than 2023 setting a near impossible bunch of records to break. 🤣 Which is amazing in itself but not as entertaining to watch.
I am definitely excited for 2025 f1. I believe the drivers championship will be between Verstappen, Norris, Piastri, Leclerc, Hamilton and Russell. Any of those drivers have the chance to win if they have a fast enough car to do it. However, I believe it’s again between McLaren and Ferrari for the constructors. Red Bull and Mercedes have young drivers that are entering those teams (Lawson for Red Bull and Antonelli for Mercedes) so I’d doubt those constructors stand a chance. Surprise results might come from Alpine (Gasly), Aston (Alonso) and both Williams drivers. It’s probably between Bortoletto and Hadjar for lowest driver result (in points) of the year. Happy 25 everyone.
If we get a season that follows on from the trajectory of last season, it will be brilliant. It would be possible to have 3or 4 teams and drivers fighting for both titles.
The biggest thing here will be if they can get up the midfield. If they can't, all it's going to take is a race where there is a lot of DNFs and either could finish P11 and finish above the other. I really hope the team are a bit more consistent this year, i really like how the car looks
@ who needs points? Russell didn’t need any at Williams to prove his point against Latifi. Admittedly he was against Latifi, but that will only help Bortoleto if he does something similar. I actually have no interest in the other rookies. Bortoleto is the real deal, not Antonelli. Toto is just doing his one party trick of perpetually sniffing his own farts. Anyone with wheel knowledge knows that Antonelli did the opposite of impress at Monza, proving his minimum corner entry speed is simply not low enough. Low. Not high. High is bad. Max is low. Charles is low. Toto saying he had the highest entry speed when he crashed proved one, Antonelli does not have the feel at the highest level, and two, Toto really is pretty smooth brained.
@@vanbalzup6481 thinking that antonelli has no talent is quite contradictory don't you think? why would mercedes be so keen on backing antonelli to f1 if he wasn't that good? they'd just pick up someone better wouldn't they? it's funny how antonelli isn't good according to you, but is somehow able to have mercedes chase HIM and not the other way around where drivers would be begging for a seat.
I think for Toto, the risk vs. reward with Antonelli is quite decent in that 2025 is a transition year before 2026, without big jumps in performance. If they want to know if he can compete in 2026 this is the best way to find out, especially with regards to potentially getting Verstappen.

2010 no chance it'll beat it or the hype of 2005, 2007, 2008. The last race of 2012 was worth a full season on it's own. People forget we used to get a 2021 season at worst every 2nd/3rd season on average for nearly 30 years from 1982-2012 even with the Schumacher years. Since then we've had 2 actually close championship battles.
Half of what made last year so good was the fact we went in expecting a dominating repeat of 2023 by Verstappen then had 7 winners. 2025 has been over hyped from half way through last season, setting everyone up for disappointment
Just one prediction at this point: Aston Martin will be the team to shift all focus most radically towards 2026, and they will have an absolute stinker of a year because of it. Similar to Honda in 2008.
if this season turns out disappointing and one team is gonna dominate all year i acctually dont think its gonna be redbull this time its probably gonna be either ferrari or mclaren but lets hope for a super competitive year
The craziest thing about this season for me is 7 drivers on the grid were born after Alonso has made his F1 debut and he's still on the grid. And one of them was born after Alonso had become an F1 champion.
The amount of hype this season has had from midway through last year, it's making me nervous that we're all going to be disappointed.
It's definitely could be disappointing. Any time F1 fans gets excited about shit it never happens. I sadly expect a team to run away with the title

HAM will be chasing in the race more often than not. Perhaps more so than with Russell. How often will there be a battle?
My top 5 predictions:
1- Norris
2- Leclerc
3- Verstappen
4- Piastri
5- Hamilton
1- Mclaren
2- Ferrari
3- Red Bull
4- Mercedes
5- Alpine (bold)
Thats my prediction almost also.
Only if I can do a prediction. It is:
1- Norris
2- Piastri
3 -Verstappen
4- Russell
5 -Leclerc
@MAGNA_FRISIA Great one!! Do you see Mercedes stronger than Ferrari this season?
@23:10 driving a dustbin 😂
Do that opening every time. Great job!
I am so excited 😆! Can’t wait to see my number 1 Max winning 💪🏽😂! Of course will be some battles 😅
What mics do you guys have? Sounds great.
Max should be in contention for the 2025 championship, but I hope that Liam doesn't drown on dry land as his teammate.
While you're talking about Antoneli I had just one name in mind.... Bortoleto. Dominated Bearman and Antoneli in F2
That intro.....................Chefs kiss, keep em coming chaps, oh and Happy New Year.
Imagine being excited for a multiple team title battle only to ends with mclaren domination😂.
Similar to Honda in 2008.
if this season turns out disappointing and one team is gonna dominate all year i acctually dont think its gonna be redbull this time its probably gonna be either ferrari or mclaren but lets hope for a super competitive year
Sainz and Albon at Williams are the ones to watch this season.
Who is watching the battle for p14
bro they planning to build car for 2026, dont evrhyped youll get disappointed
yes it will be so exciting to watch them fighting for p16
The craziest thing about this season for me is 7 drivers on the grid were born after Alonso has made his F1 debut and he's still on the grid. And one of them was born after Alonso had become an F1 champion.
Crazy prediction - There will be a safety car at every race this season!
