The TV shutting off by itself at night was probably a programmed feature to automatically shut off the TV in case if it was left on for the whole night preventing an overheat. But that aside, I'd be spooked to death too if my TV shuts off randomly in the dead night
I got one, I went to the civil war battle grown in fredricksburg VA where my wife is from around 3-6 am "dead time" and got my black ass chased out by a confederate soldiers. NO CAP!!!!!!!
