Love this little thing.. I have been using it so much its always in my bag.. Its been like 3 months and i have not even taken my sony a7iii to do videos.. POCKET 3 is so much versatile..
I own the DJI Pocket 2, and a few months ago, I purchased the Pocket 3. Unfortunately, I am now disappointed because the screen is malfunctioning despite my careful handling. Since I am on the other side of the world, sending it back for repair is extremely expensive. The image quality is great, but the screen malfunctioning makes the camera handicap.
The OP3 is pretty awesome. Wish it had a bigger FOV but it is a great pocket gimbal video camera. Upgraded from the OP1 to the OP3 and it's a world of difference
I wish th3y can fit 2 lenses in the next Pocket. They already have it in their Mavic Air 2/3 drones. Will make it slightly bigger, but I think itll be worth the increase in size. And removable batteries pls.
This camera can be used in pro productions. Think POV, insane jib arm shots with longer extended selfie stick, mounted driving shots looking into a car window, pro social media content production.
I own it and have mixed feelings about it. The size and what is does in that context is good. Coating on the lens sucks, makes bright areas look washed out. Gimbal is shaky. Joystick is binary, no easing in and out. ND filters don’t fit in closed mode, sucks. The lens easily comes out of protection mode when turned off. Focus breathing on a video oriented cam is unforgivable. It needs physical iso controls. Screen sucks. Should be a tele lens options as well. 50mm or 85mm equivalent.
Dislike for 24 FPS! I’m not going to transfer your video to film and watch it on a film projector, which you still need to buy for this. But all modern display tools have 50/60 or higher and your 24 displays incorrectly. Did you hit your head that you were shooting in 24 frames? What's wrong with HDR and don't shoot in HLG right away? I don’t need your perversions from D-Log to SD!
Never use DJI POCKET 3's D-Log for grading, otherwise every video you make will have extreme color distortion, especially the color of the sky, which is as ugly as it gets. Take a closer look at your video!

video looks a bit dark. you think the ND filter a bit too dark, or is this an effect you did in post?
Might be the editing! I don't think it is ND
