If those cowboys just finished something, it’s more likely a trail drive. If they didn’t end up owing their saddle to the cattleman, they may be hoping for activities steamier than Robbie Burns’s poem. Hells half Acre awaits.

Is the Fat Freddie commentary necessary?

Frederic was my grandmother’s cousin. He taught himself how to sculpt. Why can’t he just focus on his ingenuity for balancing weight and movement in the sculpture instead of mocking his waist size?

@@angelam.stoutart3824 I know, just unnecessary. I live in the city where the Frederick Remington Art Museum is and he is held to the highest regard, he and Sally James Farnham, who were friends.

Are you at the Amon Carter Museum? I would come and get you and show you Museums of DFW. And get you a decent steak and beer!!

It sure looks like the Amon Carter, but it’s some museum in New England, I think. I bought the series on Vimeo.

this presenter's sarcastic and belittling narration I am finding at the moment to be most annoying and unhelpful - I am just watching him talk about theosophy in a put downish way on bbc4 - some great artists influenced by it but he is making trivialising narration - as if he has anything to offer but some kind of sarcastic seeming nihilism that fails to appreciate why these artists like Kandinsky etc and Mondrian were drawn...

You are obviously turned off by his personality. Nothing in his commentary was a put down in any way. Apparently comparing Remington to the best of any Renaissance sculptor went over your head.
You're not alone. Any number of purblind viewers make the same baseless assessment.
