The Art of Frederic Remington

Frederic Remington (October 4, 1861 - December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in the genre of Western American Art in the last quarter of the 19th century and featuring such images as cowboys, American Indians, and the US Cavalry.

They had several of his paintings at a place we stopped at in sante fe. The light and movement he captured is really amazing!

I think so too. This is just a fraction of his work. Amazes me how prolific he was. I would enjoy seeing those paintings in Santa Fe.
