    I knew a BIG number was coming with the lowry painting but I never expected £100K I wouldn't be surprised if that number has doubled now.

      I'm no expert, but I know what I like, and I don't like it. That seems way too much money. I've seen better paintings in children's books. I think it's a case of Emperor's New Clothes.

      @@GermanSausagesAreTheWurst I guess it boils down to _'Different strokes for different folks...'_ But if it comes to Proverbs Idioms and Quotas, I would rather use Hamlets : *_“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so”_*
      One of my favourites is Flaming June by Frederic Leighton. I have a very large print of it in my sitting room (But it's not everyone's 'Cup of tea'. :)
