Born as Irek Ismaren, this boys lineage was always veiled in intense speculation. The official accounts declared Sarceq Quest, a dark Jedi, as the father of Irek. Yet the truth remained obscured in a haze of uncertainty. Quest, a figure entwined in the treacherous web of Imperial espionage, remained a fleeting presence in the life of Roganda Ismaren, Irek's mother. Their connection, if it existed at all, remained an enigma, hidden within the folds of secrecy that characterised the Imperial Court.
However, hidden behind the veils of Imperial power, a relationship blossomed between Roganda and the enigmatic Emperor Palpatine. Palpatine, known for his cunning and manipulative ways, concealed his clandestine affairs with his concubine Roganda from the prying eyes of the galaxy. A master of deception, he preferred to kept his escapades shielded in the depths of secrecy.
Irek’s Eyes held the key to a deeper truth. While Roganda and Quest possessed eyes adorned with hues of brown and black, Irek's gaze emerged as a captivating anomaly. His eyes, described as a mesmerizing shade of sea blue, mirroring the light blue gaze of Emperor Palpatine. And so, the murmurs of intrigue swirled, casting doubt upon the proclaimed fatherhood of Quest, as the chorus of skeptics contended that the true source of Irek's bloodline rested in the arms of Palpatine. Roganda, ever the shrewd manipulator, fostered these speculations, cunningly orchestrating a narrative that positioned Irek as the rightful heir to the Imperial Throne.
As a prodigious toddler, Irek's nascent connection to the Force burgeoned, nurtured under the tutelage of his mother, steeped in the dark arts of the Sith. Seeking to accelerate her so n's ascent, Roganda embarked on a daring abduction, snatching the brilliant Imperial scientist, Nasdra Magrody, to serve as Irek's tutor. Locked away from prying eyes, Magrody implanted a subelectronic converter into the young boy's mind, a marvel of technology that endowed him with the uncanny ability to wield the Force in manipulating machines. Thus, Irek became a formidable force wielder, his proficiency in machinery manipulation unmatched.
However, fate dealt a cruel blow. Amidst the tumultuous Battle of Endor, the malevolent Emperor Palpatine met his demise at the hands of Vader, irrevocably altering the course of galactic history. Yet, the young Irek, a mere eight years old at the time, remained too young to assert his claim to the Imperial Throne. In the wake of the usurper Trioculus's coronation, Roganda recognized that their moment had slipped through their fingers like elusive stardust. They swiftly vanished from the glittering corridors of Coruscant, retreating into the shadows of the enigmatic planet Belsavis, where their clandestine existence would continue.

Whole rey saga would be way more believable if he was the final antagonist and not Palpatine himself.
I’m not saying I like it, because I don’t, but it does make sense for what Disney went with in their Canon because this “Son” is not his real biological son created through sleeping with a woman. In Disney Canon, this “Son” is merely a Clone Palpatine created amongst many, many other in his quest to find Immortality. This clone managed to escape from Sidious’ labs and successfully outran Sidious for nearly 10 years. In that time, he met a woman, for whom he’d conquer the world for. He loved her greatly and just wanted to live a peaceful life, so she eventually convinced him to stop running and settle down.
They had a child, and for a few years everything was perfect. They had their family now, Sheev was becoming a rather prominent member of his planet’s government.
Everything changed when Sidious’ assassins showed up one day and failed to kill them, giving Sheev, his wife and their child a chance to escape the planet on a star ship.

In an act of Desperation, they abandoned their child on a desert world in the Outer Rim, hoping to hide their existence from Sidious for as long as possible. Though they died shortly after abandoning their daughter, she succeeded in staying out of Sidious sights for nearly 20 years.
She survived on the desert world of Jakku, and her name was Rey. She would later discover her heritage and become one of the most powerful Force Wielders the galaxy has ever seen.

I remember the "Children of the Jedi" with the spirit jedi chick that fell in love with Luke/both fell in love with each other ... The whole trilogy which also included "Darksaber" and "Planet of Twilight" were boring and uninteresting stories in the main. I forgot about then until I watched this video.

My ideal saber would be like a great sword, with two kyber crystals, one blue and one green that form a longer cyan blade. The hilt would be long enough to be two-hands only, and ribbed up to the hand guard and pommel. The pommel would have a small sphere with an emerald inside visible through the curves. The hand hairs would be extravagant and wide, with a central disc and extending bubbles around, and on the left and right, bars that extend out.

So you want a Dual phase saber? They were always derided as tricky to use among Jedi because it made it easy to bat the longer blade away and get in close in Dueling.

Perfect lightsaber for me would be a single bladed one with three different crystal activations inside. Ghost Fire, Lignam, and Sith Red. It would be like a great sword handle wise, with adjustable blade length, and have electrum finishings and a stopper to keep the hand from sliding up.

Irek Ismaren is the illegitimate son of Roganda Ismaren and Sarvec Quest. He was long rumored to be the son of palpatine, given that his mother was one of his concubines. But that was a false rumor.

He didn’t, not in the classical and traditional sense. He didn’t stick his icky 100+ year old dicky into a woman’s wet where he gooped his milk into her.
He created a clone using stolen Kaminoan Cloning technology in an attempt to transfer his consciousness through the Dark Side into these new bodies and live forever.
One of the clones escaped, however, and managed to hide for many years. The clone then met a woman and they married. This Cloned version of Palpatine in his mid 20s then had a child through traditional means with his wife, birthing Rey.
Palpatine felt the birth of Rey through the Force, knowing she was powerful; and this led the true Palpatine’s assassins straight to Rey’s parents. They abandoned Rey on Jakku because they knew they’d been found and that Sidious was trying to get his hands on Rey, technically is Granddaughter since his clone shared the same exact perfect DNA sequence as was essentially his “Son.”

This child was named Rey, and she was left on the desert world of Jakku, where she remained completely out of Sidious’ sights for over 20 years.

Ohhh ok , it would be her uncle then (in Legends) but in the sequel trilogy Ol Palpy didn’t have a son and only Clones of himself, in order to transfer his Consciousness to a perfect one , but I believe he wasn’t able to make a Force Sensitive Clone so he never went through taking the body of Rey’s Father and waited to take Rey
