They actually did talk about the deficit during the debate between Trump and Biden-but it definitely got lost in the mess of other stuff they actually wanted to focus on. My personal favorite part of the debate was Biden saying if we made the 500 billionaires in the country pay a 24% or 25% tax rate, we could raise $500 billion over the next 10 years and use that to pay down the deficit Biden was saying ballooned more under Trump than him these past 4 years. $50 billion a year extra to pay down the deficit. Hey Vito, if you read this here's a genuine observation with some advice maybe to take on board for Superkiller.
Firstly, the facts. The comic is taking a tremendously long time. I've never made one and don't know the ins and outs and, most likely, future iterations will be quicker to turn around, but you're taking the piss now.
Now that we've addressed that, a suggestion for improvement.
Your strength is as a writer and as general overseer of the design to ensure it matches your vision. Creation and sign-off / revision notes.
You desperately need someone with project management skills. Dick is right, you're for sure being too nice to your contractors, you need to hound them and stay on their ass until they deliver, within the timeframe you agree. Obviously you can't do it yourself, if there's funds available hire someone that can.
Also, Vito, for the love of god, start building some contingency into your value chain. What happens if your artist gets hit by a bus and dies? Have you anything at all planned for this? A good project manager will help you handle this stuff

Arrests only happen if someone tells the police what happened and there's sufficient evidence to justify an arrest. "Inappropriate messages" without pictures being sent would not be sufficient, even if the messages were sexually charged
