- Let's talk about growing strawberries aquaponically! They are easily one of the most rewarding crops you can grow in an aquaponic system, but it's important that you know what you're doing. Here's just WHY you should grow them in your system - plus 7 tips and tricks for setting yourself up for success when it comes to growing strawberries with aquaponics based on my own experiences.

I also definitely want to know more about adding phosphorus! What do you,personally, do with the solids from your swirl filter, btw? I'm concerned about runoff in my area
I use the solids as a soil amendment. The effluent from the swirl filter goes directly onto fruit trees.

ive only ever grown from seeds in a DWC, its the only way to get varieties that are unique.
they need way more air bubbles then other plants or the roots turn brown.

Of the soft rock phosphate? I have been experimenting with dosage rates and frequencies still actually. You have to be careful because adding too much at once can result in an algae bloom, especially if your tank is uncovered like mine.
