Get the 'Gage Thoughts fix' mod for the game, it re-incorporates a lot of these unused lines. Downside, you cant buy gear from him since the options for 'Your thoughts?' Takes up the 'Gear for Sale?' place.
He's almost like the Negan of the wasteland, so we basically have a companion in every faction now Settler, minuteman, brotherhood, railway, institute, merc, vault dweller, and now raider.
Brotherhood of Steel doesn't have a companion for the player. Not in the long run, anyways. Ugh, we should have been assigned another BoS companion to replace Danse.
I remember him saying something about the Railroad along the lines of "they're smuggling synths out of the Commonwealth but how do they know it's not part of the Institute's plan to spread their spies everywhere"
I'm sad, I never heard of any of these lines, the romance ones aside from asking him what did he think of the relationship. Now I'm really crushing on Gage, lol. Edit: I still don't know how I never heard some of these lines while traveling with him. I'm so thankful for this video!
It makes no sense for him to turn hostile. He has no loyalty to the other gangs and they straight up want to skin him alive. Gage is a survivor. If he witnessed the Overboss mop the floor with the entire Nuka World raider garrison, he should say, “well shiiiit, I did not see that coming. But, I never liked those guys anyways. What’s next?”
I know this is old, but Gage does have a terminal that he set up for Colter, and was even sending messages to him. Either he's playing stupid or they couldn't decide what kind of character he was gonna be.

It's nice having an evil companion. I hate how all of the default companions are good or chaotic neutral at best so if you're playing as an evil character you can't really have a companion except maybe Strong. But even he will leave you if you steal too much.
