Hi! Thank you for videos! I'm 45 and I'm sure if I had kids, they'd tell me I'm too old for stuff! 🤣 Your keeping up with these youngsters! Very inspiring because I've always wanted to learn how to do these dances! Going to get yours down!! Keep up the great work! You made my year! 🤩🥳
Wow thank you so much!! You can do it!! I’m 41, so I’m a huge cheerleader for our generation learning how to shuffle dance! If you can jump rope, you can shuffle dance. I’ll never shuffle as fast as these youngsters, but it’s still fun and an awesome workout for us over the hill😂 the hardest part for me when I learned (I was 39 or 40) was the stamina! It’s super cardio times ten! I recommend just starting slow with one move and do it over and over and muscle memory will kick in and you’ll build your stamina at same time and one day it’ll click and you’ll be shuffling!!!
We were Shuffling in the clubs and raves 20 years ago. :) And many people our age are still shuffling. There are people 20 years older than us who are still dancing/shuffling, as per some of the videos on UA-cam with young adults and kids dancing with their moms. Just remember, you're never too old to learn how to shuffle. It's a great way to keep fit and keep all your joints and muscles active and working. Enjoy Shuffling and never give up!! ;)
Good video, explained very well. I started training today but I can't do a full circle and above all I can't do the cowtail by switching legs. How long does it take to get used to?
Thanks for the video!! Very well explained and instructed. Cowtail is tricky (for me anyway :D ), especially transitioning into and out of. And then there are a few variations to it too. With a broader cowtail move (as seen by the guys/gals in Tuzelity Shuffle) I find it easier to get that round swing by moving my hips a certain way, kind of getting some momentum happening. The way you show it is so much easier though. I'm going to practice using your method/explanation. :D Thanks Kelli!
What you can also do, something that I did, is create your own playlists in UA-cam. I have a tutorial playlist and a TikTok/Instagram type playlist with the dancers out in the streets etc. Happy Shuffling! ;) And in case you don't know, to add videos to your playlist click on the + Save button above the Subscribe button. ;)
BEST EVER explanation of this notoriously difficult cow tail swing. I cannot thank you enough for breaking it down to such simple steps.
Yay! I’m so glad it helped someone! 😊 thanks

Все очень понятно, спасибо!!

Thanks this is really helpful, do you have a playlist for individual shuffle steps?
No, but that’s a good idea. I’ll try and put something together! Thanks!
