I typically agree with you all on most of your reactions, so I was a bit surprised you were underwhelmed by this. I really love this song and I really like the MV. I like the song more with every listen. The MV fits in well after the 15-minute intro film that is like watching a mini sci-fi movie. They cemented their spot as one of my favorite debut groups of the year with this.
This was a good debut got heavily 2nd generation kpop anesthetics and song style. Also I agree with your opinion on the video but the song helped drive the energy. I didn’t like the breakdown much cuz I don’t like heavy edm beats but other than that the song is very unique and their different tones mixes so well together. Will also be looking for what they’ll do next.

I just discovered this song today and I heard it for the first time on Spotify and watched the MV second and I felt the same about the MV but listening to the song on it's own is magnificent and that was before finding out this was a debut song. I'm so stoked to hear what they do next because I feel like they are doing their own thing and I really really like it. This is my jam and contender for soty for me. Objectively speaking, I would have cut the dubstep/edm part by about 15 seconds because this sound isn't for everyone. But this seems like their style so I hope they continue on this path.
personally i dont like those types of edm breakdowns and i actually prefer their b-sides, i think their debut album was awesome! For the concept they're going for i think the song suits it well. I love GHOST9 so much, they're so talented and sweet and i totally stan!
DO THE DANCE PERFORMACE FOR ANOTHER SONG ON THEIR ABLUM CALLED REBORN. this is a debut. and in order to understand the message you would have to watch their cinematic work film that came out before this. (its a 16 minute video). they are also from a smaller company so the sets may not be as amazing as some of the bigger companies but they managed to pull this off really well.
