My dad loves this band. He was so excited when their latest album came out. As soon as the albums went on the shelf he bought himself a copy. I do have an appreciation for this band. They have great potential. I hope to see more from them! :)

The singer's voice has matured well. it's got a bit more grain in it. his screams have always been good, but his cleans have gotten tougher and stronger.

I actually relate to this lyrics, there was a recent person in my life who I did love, but he was on a self destructive free fall, and no matter I would help them, they would push me away and continue, and when the relationship ended, I actually thought to myself "I shouldn't be feeling guilty, they've done this to themself".

Despite what anyone may say these guys are killing it and I'm finding their evolution to be quite mature and yet still relevant. I've always enjoyed this band and there was a time I saw them as growing too fast and then falling off the edge for a bit but despite that period they still produced new material regardless of feedback and have reached (in my mind) a respectable spot. So good on you guys.

You people need to stop hoping for a Poison Pt. 2 It wont happen, and it shouldn't. The band Changed and Evolved. Either for the better or for worse. In this case, being a hardcore fan, I support them in anything they do. I happen to love the direction they are going in. If i had not liked the new style then I wouldn't shit all over it. We are all metalheads and we need to stay united, not trash each others artists/tastes. We are better than that.

Dustin Lamb yeah, the album was in a way of it's own thing. Different than the others. Kinda like St. Anger for Metallica. Not appreciated because it's not like everything else.

That's fair. I've haven't had any issue with BFMV changing their sound as they went on. I thought 'Temper Temper' was fine enough, though I may have liked 'Venom' more. However, even compared to songs on those albums, this one does feel notably different and while it's not different in a way that would make me say I hate it, it definitely hasn't grabbed me like 'Don't Need You'.
Jack Brown it was simply different than the rest. That's why people didn't appeal to it. It wasn't like the Metallica everyone was used to.
