HEY THERE DAVID!! Brian from Tokyo Record Style! I wanted to drop by and acknowledge this video and send you a BIG DOMO ARIGATO from Tokyo. I've been really enjoying and appreciating what people have contributed to this tag and getting to really know people by way of their selections. I promise to watch this, take it all in, and do what I can, little as it may be to promote it, archive it, and more! But a bit buried with work at the moment but will circle back this weekend or sooner to take it in deliberately and slowly with a coffee and a pair of headphones! Very happy to see the Manic Street Preachers. Hardly ever mentioned in the VC, they are absolute favorites of mine, cool Cymru, and I’m always miffed at the performance of my Manics videos. Oh no! Empty? Bugger. Great album. I’m missing two now to complete my Manics vinyl collection. Great video. Nice of Mike sending you a t-shirt from their great get together in Boston 😊
David I just listened to Saint-Saens Symphony No. 3 "Organ" (1975) (Litaize, Barenboim, Chicago Symphony Orchestra) and I am beside myself. Wow!!! What a transcendent and emotional piece of music! I about burst into tears at the powerful ending crescendo! I feel completely invigorated! Having taken several days to get through the first half of your selections I forgot where exactly I was in the list and I was thinking it might be “Sunrise Soundtrack” but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually “Go Go Go Godzilla”, a perfectly fitting choice! Amazed and so happy to know this work now. Thank you for sharing! More comments to come as I get through the list!

Hi David - I haven't made a video for this tag yet, but I have made a list and it turns out that we choose the same record for the city vibe question! I once bought a cheap copy of New Order's Substance that is missing the first record. I didn't notice. I still have it, along with a complete copy. Good call on Pink Moon. Interesting choice for The Last Samurai 🙂
Great video! Some really sweet picks. I'm new to the VC. Posted my first video a few weeks ago. It was a response to the Noble Records Summer Tag. Brian at Tokyo Record Style was one of the first people to sub me and reach out. He's great. I want to tackle his Tag. But after just doing the Summer tag I put it on hold and plan on doing it soon, or at least before 2024 ends. 🙃 I just subbed to your channel and look forward to your next video. Cheers. Bobby
Interesting video, David, you are right about Wagner, his operas are worth the time and effort. You are also correct that one thing you don't want to do is rip the end off your stylus!.

Something was telling me that you would show some Sakamoto records 😉I also picked a Tangerine Dream album for the ''zen'' question, what an obvious choice isn't it? Picking up Meddle for a train ride is a damn good choice 😎
